It came with the 2019 comic con comic books... someone may have just taken theirs out and they're selling the comic book and the trading card separately. -

The prices on Tick comic began and rise about 6 months before the release of the Amazon series a few years back and then peaked about 2 weeks after Season 1 started. The prices have dropped a lot since then but some people are still holding out for that "peak" price. I saw ungraded special edition #1's selling for $600-$800... now I see them sometimes listed for under $150. I was new to collecting slabbed comics and bought a few lower grades and what I thought were good prices. At least I only spent a few hundred dollars to learn my lesson and not a few thousand. -

I'm only posting this because I can't find any info that CGC does this. If they do, please delete this post... This company grades cards: https://www.beckett.com/grading -

@vsndesignsDid you get the artwork for the GPK card that was on eBay? It was up there for several months. -

This one did not. I used to have one that did... but I lost it. Somewhere in the process of moving from MA to NH 12 years ago I lost a box of books. I had 2 ashcans. (#1 and #2 - one was like new, one was worn with marks) to date - they are among the missing books. :-( #1 had marks and even some of the panels were either incomplete or different from what was published (if I remember correctly). It was given to me only a couple years after the Tick came out so there was no demand of it at the time. The friend that gave it to me told me he got it from his friend who literally took it out of the trash from NEC. Whether or not that's what really happened, I have no idea. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :-) -

I am all set - it's all yours. I'm down to only needing 3 items. 2015 SDCC Sketch cover (with no printed number on it), a variant cover for the Man Eating Cow Bonanza (that I can't confirm if it exists or not), and... well... you know... the hard to find yellow ashcan #2. -

Hi Vic, I have no idea what that blue thing is in the Tick Onmibus. Maybe it's the tassel from his graduation cap :-) Also, I didn't know I took the lead on the boards. Thanks! In time, someone will pass me. -Brian -

Wonder if there's any chance for a season 3 if they win... or is it all too late? -

I was hoping it was you that got this cover artwork. I was going to save my money for it because Bumbling Bee is my 2nd favorite Tick character. I did get other stuff so I'm happy and happy to know it's in a good home. :-) Congrats on the purchase! -

Welcome to collecting Tick comic books! It turns out that the first image (??? 2007) was never an official comic book cover. Someone got a hold of a pre-production mock-up image of what the comic book might be like. I'm assuming it came from NEC. The actual cover released is the one I show here. The middle comic was limited to a printing of 200. The comic you're looking for was limited to 250. They show up on eBay once in a while. That's probably one of the best places to keep your eyes on. I don't have one to spare at the moment but if I come across one I'll let you know. Another forum member was willing to part with the original cover art for that comic so I'm exited to have it in my collection. -

There was a lot to see and do at SDCC 2019... but there was no Ben Edlund. :-( I did manage to get this sketch from Billy Tucci. His booth was next to the NEC booth. -

If there was a way to help raise money for another season... I would do it. I couldn't find out any information as to why the Tick was canceled. Losing money and not making much are two different things. But I know there are a ton of other shows out there so, if nothing happens, I'll at least be grateful for the 2 seasons I did get. I hope they find a new home soon so that shooting can continue before the actors/actresses get tied up with new shows and move on. -

I'm not sure when the last time Ben did a comic book cover so I'm pretty excited to add this to my collection. (I bought this with permission from the misses... but now I need to be good for a while. ) -

Nice Tick #2 uncut. There are only about 200 of those and they're really hard to get a hold of! On another note... Did anyone notice that Liz Vassey is in the Season 2 of the Amazon Tick? She was Captain Liberty in the Fox sit com version of the Tick. I won't say who she is, but I thought is was cool that she's back in with the Tick live action again. -

Just finished binge watching Amazon's Tick - Season 2. Was very excited for the possibilities for season 3 and who some of the new characters might be. (I won't say in case anyone hasn't watch the season yet). And now I look forward to this years free comic book day in a few weeks! -

This just arrived in the mail today! That rare eBay find (at a super low price) just months after I posted on several sites I was looking for one (and had given up on ever owning one). Vic, if you're #2 yellow ashcan ever ends up missing... um... it wasn't me. ;-) -

I have also used Comic Skin and been happy with the results: https://comicskin.com But there's just something about having the CGC name on it. But then, I guess that's more than just protecting the comic. -

I just picked up the 3 chainsaw vigilante covers over the weekend. They're not perfect but they're in really good shape. (All the pages are white but the covers have a few minor flaws) Any opinions/advice on leaving them bagged and boarded vs CGCing them? I want them protected. -
