Hello all.
I apologize for delay/inconvenience. Sometimes life gets in the way and comic sales have to take a back seatso I’m afraid I will need to close this thread for now and will return (start a new if nec) when I am able too.
thanks as always for all that purchased or inquired etc. it is much appreciated
Good luck with everything!

Countless copies. Practically worthless. Owners should start selling them off. Dirt cheap. Give them away if they feel inclined.
I agree with Peter as usual. As a service to my fellow collectors, I'd be happy to have you send me this worthless drek. I'll even pay for shipping to make it easier.:)

I originally kept my comics un-bagged on shelves in the closet. Then I stacked them rotating the spines in cleaner's bags. Around 1971 I got some Robert Bell bags and used cut cardboard as a stiffiner. When backing boards came out I substituted them. I also remember using Fortress holders (similar to current slabs but removable) for my most important books. It has been a long road to where we are today...
As a kid in the late 70's I sent a few dollars in cash to Robert Bell and had these bags in my collection for a while! Great to see the flap, thanks for sharing it.

Troy purchased several books from me. Very easy to do business with, great communication, fast payment and a real asset to the boards! Highly recommend!
Thank you Troy!

Neal has been my favorite artist since I was a kid. I met him a few years ago at ECCC and spent a ton of time with him, like Jimbo. He was awesome. I had him sign a few of my favorite books that I kept raw. I didn't care about not getting them encapsulated as SS. You can't make a mistake, just go with your gut

Great books, congrats to all!

How amazing would it be to own a blue Tec 27 - even for a short time? I'd worry about liquidity on any big book like that...

Just got my most recent submission back from CGC.
The Batman 4 and 5 were purchased from John Fairless, restoration fully disclosed. John use to call me from time to time and say in his southern accent "Hey Greg, John Fairless, I got some right purty books I think you might like". I attached an old article with him in it.
Batman 6 and 9 are from an OO collection out of Arizona. Mike at All About Books and Comics had my beeper number (yeah it was a long time ago). Beeped me one day, called him and told him to hold the Batman's. Went by after work and came home with the three Batman books. (Third book is in route to me now from CGC).
Batman 7 was bought from Marty Hayes (hopefully I spelled his name right) back in the 1980s. I was pretty stoked, oldest Batman I ever held at the time.
Batman 18 Ebay by in the 90s, over graded
Batman 20 Howard Rockman purchase in Albuquerque back in the 80s, my favorite Batman cover.
Fantastic books!!!! Congrats!!

Wow. I don't like Kane myself but that's a neat story.
