  1. Oh I know. Just trying to get the love out there. There is a #1 9.8 selling for 3 grand on eBay now. I would of thought #3 would sell for that but not #1.
  2. One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them, One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.
  3. "QuickPress is a fast and inexpensive alternative to our multi-step standard Pressing service. It includes the removal of the same defects as regular pressing (dents, bends, crunches, rippling, warping, spine rolls and indentions) and includes dry cleaning as well" but "QuickPress comics only pass through the process once " but "CCS does not offer the Screening service for QuickPress" Best bet is to attach a photo and maybe one could tell if a single press will take care of it.
  4. Requesting a wedge may bump your inner well width to the next size up if there is a minimum extra space requirement between comic and edge of inner well to fit the wedge or in other words can a wedge still be used if the comic is a real good fit in the well? I guess Im debating if having a wedge with extra space on the other side is better than having a tight fit with no wedge. How about a wedge on all sides?
  5. Kamite Mexico silver edition. If you haven't seen this copy, its pretty nice. Matte silver background with UV Hi-gloss over orange SAGA text and characters. Really nice UV coating register with a slight bleed into silver over SAGA orange
  6. Im not 100% sure thats the case all the time. Maybe they use a wedge if they are not using the proper inner well size and maybe when the wedge is on the spine side it could pinch the cover in place and expose the inside pages to shifting and detaching from cover during shipping.
  7. You should slab that couch too while you are at it. Well.. it looks really nice.
  8. Stop touching it. standing it up in a couch like that
  9. The skill to come out of light speed to clear a planet shield is possible without any calculations. You do it on feel.
  10. These racks are supposed to hold CGC cases. If you search CGC wall holders on amazon they pop up. Im not sure if they work well or anything but thought this would be a decent suggestion. Peace.
  11. Wow pressing can get a ripple like that out? That’s a pretty serious ripple.
  12. I can see a blonde mustache in the reflection. Though I don’t know how that’s relevant.
  13. A slab of turkey-neck.... Forces of evil in a bozo nightmare
  14. Do they make mylar and boards for ashcan comic size? I hate the way these things float around.
  15. You are doing a good job getting people all riled up.
  16. Those inner well sleeve designs sometimes annoy me. The white spec on the T in lower Nintendo annoys me.
  17. I can't confirm anything new from those pictures. The poly bag looks to have bad surface wear and all these micro scratches so maybe the surface of the comic will be nice . Maybe those staples not as bad as I initially thought.
  18. Thats interesting. I did check a few on google pictures and didn't see them. Wanted to make sure it wasn't part of the artwork.
  19. Ironically i don't know how to grade comics at all. When I list comics for sale on eBay I try to take 12 detailed photos and list any visual defect I can find. I would suspect many more defects than what I circled so be careful using my photo
  20. I don't think those are white dust specs on the book but there are some dust specs on that wood table. I also don't think you made any mistake. Isn't it fun having this conversation? There is some value in that. There is also some value in seeing how poorly this seller is going to package that thing for shipping so please show that packaging that seller ships it in. It will be fun. I really don't think it was pressed. It just looks really razor thin. The book has a tilt in the photo but you can't see any other pages. I thought that was strange and for some reason and I kind of figured the skill involved to press a book was along the lines of the skill needed to repair older TV's. Don't ask me why.
  21. Pressing seems really fun. Who wouldn't want to try.
