  1. Just looked it up, yup. It's all out there! https://comicbookplus.com/?dlid=70843#bot Love this panel!
  2. OMG... please tell me they're talking about VD...
  3. Sometimes simple just works! Especially with the bright purple background!
  4. Ok.. I remembered what issue with right cut-off issues I was thinking of. It's an issue of Top Love. Here's some images from MCS. I don't know where they got this one from, it's so perfect it looks like a cover proof: And here's an issue they have for sale (I know it's beat, but you get my point) and many are like this. It's a tough one to find in decent shape (2 on census, highest in 5.5):
  5. I feel ya. Thankfully I don't have much of that cut-off issue. This is as close as I've gotten, and apparently it has another issue anyway. No conserving for me...
  6. While on the Terrors of the Jungle title... I think the last one in the run I got was the #5. It wasn't one of the harder ones to find, but for some reason this was one of those books were the right side was always cut off into the story title and it just aggravated me to see that. Eventually I got one that I was happy with: To give you and idea of what I'm referring to, here's a pair of books on HA now and it has this issue, although it isn't as bad as most copies: There are a few Star books that have this "issue." I know there are a few like this in the romance category. If I can recall them I'll post 'em.
  7. Thanks! Yea, I spent some time scanning. I even added all the back covers to my registry. I dunno, I just scan and move on. Yea, most are a bit brighter in person as a pic / scan can only capture so much but I know the difference.
  8. Excellent copies guys! I had mine pre-graded at a 3.5, and was right. FYI - in classic Star fashion this is a #17 that is a #1. I think it took over from Jungle Thrills #16 (the 1-shot) that I think took over from Sport Thrills that ended at #15. It goes to #21 before it starts over again at #4. So odd... (Also, no brightness added as far as I know. Just scanned and posted.)
  9. Here's a recent pickup in my Hobgoblin saga from ComicLink I'm psyched about. Only 6 in 9.8 on the census and now I've got one! This is part one of the 3-parter with Carrion, and now I've got 2 of the 3 parts. More to follow soon!
  10. That's actually cooler than the cover! I approve this message.
  11. I have a handful of these books and I see they are on the census (I've never personally seen one in a slab). Would this be a candidate for pulp slabbing or should it go the comic book route? 6.5-in. x 9.5-in.; black and white; 96 newsprint pages
  12. Excellent! Mine is getting graded in my next box to Florida.
  13. Well, the description is odd... Good Cond. nice solid copy, cover 2in split spine top, little chipping , Complete Copy, (see picture) (see picture) (see picture) (see picture) (see picture) (see picture) (see picture) Priority Mail, PAYPAL accepted. PICTURE of COVER is for REFERNCE only but included
  14. Excellent pickup! I was looking up my copy to share and saw something interesting on this book. I don't know how many of you play on the registry, but for some reason this book is more "valued" - meaning gets a ton more points - than others in the run. I'm not sure how the points are calculated as it's a CGC algorithm, but I have many in this run in the same grade and this one outshines the rest by a lot. In any case, I'll play!
  15. Thanks! The 6.0 was sharp, but it was tanned on the right. I'll take a blue label any day! Also, to be clear it wasn't a swap. I sold my 6.0 and another book and then picked up the 4.0 from a boardie. However, it was about a $50 difference from the sale thrown in to purchase the upgrade. I think it worked out in my favor! So for my graded run so far (1-23, and a handful more) only 1 (3.0) and 14 (3.5) are below a 4. As I get my books graded I want 4.0 to be as low as I get. I'm a bit worried about that #31, but I'll find a new one if / when the time comes.
  16. Congrats on your 1st Planet! Of course as many will tell you, now you're screwed. Enjoy the ride!
  17. I know your shadow is kinda covering most of the cover, but where its not the colors look pretty sharp - especially the blue logo! Gotta love a dino with a King Kong complex for the ladies! Nice pickup!
  18. Awesome! I'd take a 9.6 of that! And that 85 is STELLAR! Congrats! And if anyone watching is looking for a 9.8 of that PPSSM #85 there's one up in an hour...
  19. Aw man... I'd sell my 1st born for that.... Just look at the red, yellow, blue, and green! And the guy is up against a wall - THAT'S a poster-color cover! I'll have to settle for this:
  20. Scored another one in the Hobgoblin run! This is a tougher one with not too many in 9.8. I got somewhat of a deal on it, so I snagged it. Cool Byrne cover on this one!
