  1. I'm looking forward to this. I'm hoping for some Wizard Fan Editions, Medieval Spawn / Witchblade, Angela, Violator, and maybe some x-overs!
  2. Frank was the MAN! Also, the character circle is odd as he backwards. I never noticed that before.
  3. Just a head's up to anyone looking for a 9.8 of this book: One just popped up on MCS. Snag it while you can, decent price too.
  4. It is cool. Romita once told me that 121 was his favorite because he thought he nailed the all the faces.
  5. Oh happy day!!! I've been hunting this one for a while. Only 107 in 9.8 of this one (fewer than others around this time) and it's got WP too. Tough black / dark cover. I love the yellow story title popping off the background and the bad guys coming at you. And one of the reasons this is a grail for me and my Hobgoblin collection, is that it has BOTH the Hobgoblin and the Jack O'Lantern on the cover! I'm pretty sure this is the only time these two shared a cover in their original monikers. And here's another one, Ned Leeds is in it too! Oh - and you've got Hammerhead, Rose, and the Punisher making appearances as well. So much going on, Spidey didn't even make the cover in his own book! So, here she is... Amazing Spider-Man #284:
  6. https://thatguywiththeglasses.fandom.com/wiki/Marvel_Team-Up_74#:~:text=Chris Claremont%2C the writer responsible, the legal rights to this. All I could find
  7. FINALLY grabbed this one. It was mandatory for the Hobgoblin collection. I like the logo versions over the virgin covers most of the time. There are a serious number of newton rings happening I'll have to get fixed eventually, but I've got the book so I'm happy.
  8. Here's a Hobgoblin appearance, but not cover. This one actually takes place during the Spidey / Wolvie 1-shot where Ned is killed. I think this is my first slabbed book without Hobgoblin or Jack O'Lantern on the cover in my mini-run. For the most part I'm sticking with covers but this was an important part of the story so I snagged it. Also got it for a decent price as it was listed as #24. Classic "buy the book and not the label" scenario. There will be a re-labeling happening.
  9. Hello all. I just got a graded book that has an incorrect label. It should be Web of Spider-Man #29 but it says #24. My guess is that it will only go in the #24 slot for the set. Should I get it re-slabbed before adding to my set or can something be done in the background to make this a #29 instead of of #24? #: 2747405022 Thanks!
  10. My Holiday Comic 1, 5, & 8 went in the mail to Sarasota yesterday!
  11. Here's a recent pickup. After going through my animal books I was missing this one and needed to fill the hole in the run. Not many out there, but this is ok for now. Here's one of those miscuts: For fun I played with the color a bit. Here's the same book after playing with some options:
  12. CRY TOUGH is the winner for me here, but "Waiting for Willy" is the best title I've seen in a long time! And grandma sleeping in the rocking chair is just the cherry on top!
  13. This is odd. Is it one of the tattooz from inside? It doesn't look like a sketch as much as something put on and the label called a "sketch."
  14. Just arrived! Super happy with this one. The top and left borders are sharp, no cutoff on the CCA label, and of course WP! Here it is, 2nd Hobgoblin!
