  1. Welcome to the club! Now, about Marvel Team-Up.....
  2. Thanks my friend! I've got a whole bunch more stacks to scan and others still to get slabbed. Some I may scan to get opinions on if they are worth grading or not. Stay tuned for more info. And well... I don't know where you are... I've never been to NY... I mean... I'm sure your books are still there, yeah - that's it...
  3. You will find one if you look hard enough. HA.com has had a few copies, they pop up but are rare. Stay vigilant! ;)
  4. Thanks, it's pretty sharp. I had it higher, but again maybe if it was pressed it would have been.
  5. Here's one more romance book. I REALLY thought this had a shot at an 8.0, it's beautiful. Oh well! I'll take it.
  6. Here's the 2nd STT #11, that I had a a really sharp book, but apparently a few too many dings and some extra help. I'm starting to hate the color purple...
  7. Sent in a few of the Spook books as well. I was hoping for a bit higher on the #25 (one of my earliest Cole covers) but the others came back a bit better than expected so I'll take the trade off.
  8. And just to round out the run here's the rest. Already did the 50 (have to get that scanned) and my 51 is pretty beaten. Not sure what to do with that one yet, but I've got it at least. Anyway, here they are:
  9. Ok... this one hurt. Great cover and is in great shape! I had no idea a wrap was missing that doesn't even affect the story! So you can't dream of buying a "spot" massager, a BB gun, or some Adolf stamps - it's the cover that counts! Right?
  10. Got the scanner working! Only took a few days.... anyway, on to the next lot... The grease pencil isn't the worst but did they have to use it twice? Really sharp copy otherwise.
  11. I was thinking of maybe upgrading my ASM #16, then looked at what they are going for. Think this one is worth grading? It's my current copy. I'd guess a 2.5 maybe. Thoughts?
  12. Thanks! All bought raw over 20 years ago, except the #17. That one was in a stack given to me after being in an attic for decades. I think it held up well! Note: none were pressed. If I had they would likely have graded a bit higher. I also have my #23, 32, and 1 of my #40's graded. My next box may have my #50, 129, and a few other keys, we'll see. I have a lot I want protected for safe keeping and will need to move some books to help pay for it.
  13. This one is a beauty of a book, really hoped for more on this one. Oh, gotta love the date stamp.
  14. I was hoping for a grade higher, but not shocked. There is a slight sub crease you may be able to see. Note: none of these have been pressed. Some would likely have graded higher, like this one, if I had C & P'd them I'm sure.
  15. Oh, sorry as the scanner is still giving me issues. Hope the pics are ok. Great looking cover, the spine issues kept it from being higher.
  16. Thought this could be a 4.0, I was close. Also, now #9 on the census.
  17. So, Santa dropped off a present a day or 2 late. I'll post some now and some over the next day or so unless I get ambitious or the football games get boring. We have this one to start off. Not too surprised about this one. Tenth on the census.
