  1. Should I have pre-ordered tickets for Shazam? Yes. Did I? No. I was paying a lot of debts off and had to sacrifice stuff to see Captain Marvel only twice (in retrospect, I would have rather seen Shazam). I think I was dirt-poor after pre-ordering 3 sets of Endgame tickets for opening weekend. As in, 1 McDonald's cheeseburger a day for sustenance, poor. All I have are excuses for not seeing Shazam. What about you and TROS? You're sacrificing an enjoyable Star Wars experience just because you've read some 'leaks' and infer unsubstantiated "tampering". Come on, bro. You're supposed to be 'The Movie Guy' around here. Do yourself a favor and book a seat/some seats.
  2. I wouldn't pay someone else to get me 9.8 Modern drek... Maybe a valuable service for 20th century stuff, though.
  3. And also donates a Superman #1 and Batman #1 to his buddy "The Goat"...
  4. I would rename the character Krismusic to Kris Sheen. Relative to Martin and Charlie.
  5. The same reaction that I have any time a studio does this. I fear that 'In the Multiverse of Madness' will be the MCU's largest creative failure, based on how big they've become, because of the fallout with Derrickson. Just let the f-ing directors direct.
  6. Shazam did that to itself! Should I have seen Shazam in theaters? Yes. Did I want to? Yes? Was I too poor to see it before Endgame was released? Yes. When I had money to go to the movies, was there a better film in theaters? Yes. Should you see TROS? Yes. Do you love Star Wars and dislike TLJ? Are you financially able to see it? FTR: It was only 6 times...
  7. More studio tampering? Wasn't aware of that. It's a matter of 'too much, too soon' for me.
  8. If 'ifs and buts' were candy and nuts we'd all have a Merry X-Mas. See the movie, you dingus. It's not bad (except for the Sith Dagger). Then cry me a river all you want. Rumors or unsubstantiated data claims don't really mean anything.*** I think that, if you see the movie, you'll accept the fact that it's a realistic representation of how fans view the film. ***Is it true? Is it necessary? Is it kind?
  9. Yes, they would receive a Q label, unless otherwise requested. A blue label would ask the graders to treat the 'signatures' as a defect. It depends on why you are slabbing. To re-sell? Probably not worth it. For self-collection preservation? It depends on your personal financial situation. CGC may know the date if there was a COA. Or it could be a SS/Q hybrid label (where 1 sig was witnessed and the other wasn't). Also, CGC notates legible not-witnessed signatures. If they can't discern who wrote their name on the cover, then they can't notate it. The final question simply panders to supply and demand. Qualified labels are typically not as in-demand as others.
  10. I don't think they will fix it 'on their dime' if you aren't the original submitter, though.
  11. Heard this on the radio and just shook my head. I will definitely see it outside theaters. I really like the first 2. Endless sequels just kill me, though.
  12. @Bosco685 why do you keep dumping on this movie when you haven't seen it...?
  13. Phoenix did Ledger proud. The difference will always be that, I think, we all expected Phoenix to perform well. I don't think that a single person expected the results that Ledger gave us. That performance was beyond his 'comfort zone'. The fact that Nolan let Heath direct those little home-made videos adds to it.
  14. I have seen literally nothing that gives me an ounce of interest in this. Looks like they're just pandering to cosplayers. Vapid doesn't make for good movie-going experiences.
  15. They have plenty of humor throughout the MCU. RDJ being Tony Stark simply took it to the top. A guy who legitimately feels like a billionaire, genius, playboy, philanthropist. Lang can't replace any of that. He may be a genius-level engineer, but Stark was basically the most intelligent man on Fake Earth. As Far From Home conveys - no one is going to be the next Iron Man. It'll be a group effort from guys like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Ant-Man, etc that 'replace' that feeling. It's just too large a task. Replacing both Iron Man and Thanos. Captain Marvel doesn't seem smart. She doesn't have the charisma of a 'playgirl'. She isn't gonna be a tech (rich) resource for the Avengers. She's definitely no philanthropist. She ain't replacing Iron Man. I think audiences like more 'self-made' characters. Iron Man created the Arc Reactor and his suit. Steve Rogers created the man that embodies Captain America. Banner created the Hulk. Captain Marvel isn't interesting. No more interesting than Scarlet Witch (who has a more-storied history within the MCU, is getting a D+ show, and will be co-starring in a Phase 4 film).
  16. Brie Larson: Overall not bad, however, awful in Captain Marvel. Continued to be 'meh' in Endgame. Jared Leto: Straight-up sucks. Robert Pattinson: Overall 'meh'. Will never be forgiven for playing a sparkling emo vampire.
  17. That is left up to the interpretation of the poster. Apparently everyone thinks it's a joke. I can't disagree with them...
