  1. I never intended on ignoring Hollywood. He likes to follow me around and reference me, months after claiming he wants to ignore me, though. Sends me love letter PMs while simultaneously publicly instigating. I'm only pointing this out because you asked. It applies to everyone. Not just you. Not just your demons. Everyone.
  2. Let the past die. Kill it - if you have to. Rehashing the same old around here is getting kind of annoying now (regardless of who revives the same-old topic). It was entertaining for awhile, but the same people saying the same f-ing things has not worked, and will not work. Talking to/about each other hasn't worked. Therapy (moderation) hasn't worked. Just get over it. Everyone. For people who seem to want to "ignore" one another - you (not just you, specifically, kav) sure think about each other at the turn of a dime. Nobody matters. We're all equally worthless. Just accept the fact, gracefully.
  3. I am sure that, on a Friday no less, you are aware of what this will lead to...
  4. You can't stop "time". You can only reduce its impact. Nothing exists to completely prevent a comic from being affected by what we call "time".
  5. Throwing random adjectives in front of "key" does not increase or reduce its importance to whichever subject matter it pertains to.
  6. You can use UV-protective film to shield framed comics from damaging light, too, FYI.
  7. I'll take, "What separates a statement from a question" for $500, Alex
  8. I picked up Superman: Year One (all 3 issues) yesterday. By "picked up" - I mean purchased. Supposed to arrive next week. I still haven't read anything, yet, this year. That mini-series might be the jump-start for 2020.
  9. The real Captain Marvel movie was better. They both had 3rd Acts that didn't impress, though. Marvel's Captain Marvel 1st trailer was better than all of Shazam's trailers. Can't deny that.
  10. Are you talking about this? How To Use PREVIEWS To Order From Comic Shops
  11. To be clear: My problem isn't the title character himself. IIRC, he didn't say a single word in the first 10 minutes of the movie. That, combined with the Police Captain saying, "we'll get the man who did this" at the funeral where the little girl glances behind them and the Punisher is standing 25 feet away... All of that culminated in my brother and I turning it off and never trying to watch it again lmfao.
  12. The likelihood that any Phase 4 character becomes the 'next Iron Man', or the MCU doesn't even have one because it's going down-down-down, is greater than Danvers being the next big thing. "The Avengers are toast."
  13. As any historian of the MCU will recall - Feige also wanted Cap to "lead" the MCU beginning in Phase 1. That didn't happen from a character-personality standpoint. She ain't the future he had hoped for.
  14. Which Disney+ and/or Phase 4 pieces is she a part of again? Can't be front-and-center if you're featured in nothing. Actions speak louder than words.
  15. She isn't though. There's literally no evidence to suggest what you're suggesting. Simply unsupported conjecture.
  16. Average moviegoers mostly view Captain Marvel as mediocre - because it is. Some agenda-lovers love it and some agenda-haters hate it. As someone who prefers agendas being omitted from escapist experiences like big-screen film, I simply agree with the average moviegoer that this was mediocre. There are 0 arrows pointing to Danvers being front-and-center of the MCU. Literally 0.
