  1. The fact that "Return this item" exists larger than "Leave feedback" highlights a focus problem... I noticed that awhile ago.
  2. Centering matters to Gem Mint. Off-center means no greater than 9.9/Mint. A non-color-breaking crease on an otherwise seemingly-perfect comic is a valid 9.8 to me. The other 2 you've posted do not look like 9.8s to me. Have you considered returning the 2 that seem over-graded, and keeping the other one? You could just return all 3 if you don't like any of them. Buy the books - not the labels.
  3. Is that the only flaw? I would argue that, if the comic is perfectly centered and it is the only flaw, then that's a 9.8 to me. If there's another obvious flaw, then could this be the result of SCS?
  4. Front-right edge 'wraps' over the inside pages. Rear-bottom edge shows handling/storage wear. Creasing on inside pages.
  5. I would say that the books are geared towards children much more than the films are. Kinda how you have to 'be into comics' to enjoy them - I think you have to 'be into children's fairy tales' to enjoy the HP books. Again - only having read one - but I stopped at the 2nd one because it wasn't 'mature' enough for me. I could be wrong, though, because I also think the first 2 films are quite family-oriented and the latter ones have some darker imagery/themes. Could be a reflection of the books getting more serious as well. Wait, isn't this a Star Wars thread?
  6. As always; Grading is subjective. I would suggest this sub-forum: Comic Book Grading and Restoration Issues
  7. Do the movie threads count towards this total? If so, should be reached by tonight...
  8. If it's not a common production flaw, and I don't think it is, then they will treat it as a defect.
  9. "I try to get along with you!" -attempts personal attack- Not an intelligent manor to go about things on a public forum.
  10. There's only 2 on the Census. But, yeah, pricing is outta hand.
  11. The first couple of films are kind of a snooze-fest (as far as re-watch-ability goes). I only ever read the 1st book when I was in middle school. The back half of the movie franchise is great IMO. I always put them on TV in the background if I catch them on the guide.
  12. Didn't Luke showcase how powerful he was (by - inadvertently I think - destroying the stone hut) when he sensed that Rey and Ben were communicating by Force Telepathy? That was a cool scene (unless I'm remembering incorrectly).
  13. It's a movie based on comic book characters with unrealistic features and feats...
  14. There's gotta be at least 1 scene that's 1 minute long that isn't awful. Uh... I'm drawing a blank, actually...
