  1. I don't think they did, however, he's a freaking space wizard who murdered a bunch of children being taught by their brother. In case you forgot, Leia charged Han with 'bringing their son back', and he tried. Ben murdered his own father. He considered murdering his own mother. By those actions, I think it's reasonable to suggest that they gave it their all before 'seeing the Vader in him'. This isn't supposed to be a continuation of the OT character's story - they're supposed to usher in the new ones. Focusing on the OGs' stories doesn't make much sense. It's about Ben and Rey. Since Snoke was killed off, JJ had to dumpster dive for the Emperor. I take it he had a plan for a very powerful Sith character and RJ ruined that.
  2. A poorly-written kiss doesn't equate to "romance" my dude. Finn (rightfully) has literally 0 interest in that Hobgoblin. "We both went back to what we were good at after we lost our son." Explains Han and Leia. They separated.
  3. How...? He never had any interest in her. She ing tazed him... Fanboys and girls across the globe wanted to know what happens next. The OT characters don't need development. They already developed across 3 films and TFA conveyed what happened in the last 30 years to put them where they are now (except for Luke, where he seemingly developed into a little , and we have no idea how or why). This seems like Kylo Ren's trilogy and he does have character development. Finn had development in TFA and was subsequently literally useless in TLJ. When 50% of the NT sucks, I can't argue much against the lack of new character development. But wait! There's more! Purple Hair Lady develops from a dummy who says and does nothing - to a dummy who says nothing and crashes a ship into another ship!
  4. I bolded what my comment was in reference to, bro.
  5. "My dog ate my phone and his stomach acid bid on this plz cancel."
  6. Looks like they're printing some Aquaman: The Silver Age books in the coming months.
  7. I'm not the expert (joey is) but that seems like a pressing candidate to me.
  8. I think ya'll are crazy who think it isn't the worst Star Wars thing to ever hit a screen. Yes, that includes those X-Mas ewok TV shows or whatever the Hel those were.
  9. Look at it from the perspective of the people who think it's an abomination. I understand that you like the movie. Many - very many - do not. I live in a sci-fi (Star Wars, comic book, etc) movie-loving area. The fact that I could get opening weekend tickets (at 2 of the highest-profile theaters) more than a week after they went on sale is a big red flag to me. People are probably still speaking with their wallets after TLJ as they did with Solo. I, personally, 'need' to see how the Skywalker saga ends. I can't/won't abstain. I simply have caution and middling expectations.
  10. If we use this analogy, the comic looks very good, but the clothes his parents dressed him in are Darth Hideous.
  11. No matter what you learn, though, the warning points will come...
  12. Oh, come on, you know damn well that not all babies are cute. I've seen some really, really, ugly babies in my time. Truth hurts sometimes!
  13. History tells us one thing; a kav thread never stays on-topic for too long...
  14. Fox is too busy with plastic surgery and pregnancies to star in films anymore (plus, no one gives a about her, either). Shia would be the next Binks.
  15. Michael Bay to direct the next trilogy now that the GOT guys are 'out'.
  16. I was gonna say, "someone with too much time on their hands should investigate this" but, you nailed it.
  17. Why do we have "ages" in anything? It's easier to categorize. Like Hero and Horror for genres. Different printing practices, writing, art, etc.
