  1. I am gonna be buying a DP-12 in the next month or two, and I know that's in the movie.
  2. Didn't Lucas want to be that guy, but Iger said no? MCU is the only franchise whose stuck it out. Endgame is the only movie in which its fan-service has truly paid off. That's what makes it such a lifetime event for so many people.
  3. The agendas are typically in the movie. Desiring escapism is a valid expectation IMO. Some people are okay putting up with it. Personally, I don't want any of it. I can tolerate bits and pieces. Are the characters good/faithful? Is the story good/faithful? That's what I want to know. Normally, if they are not, that's when the affirmative action gets criticized/highlighted.
  4. My experience is that those who use this term are not to be trusted. Slinging insults/labels over opinions is always a red flag.
  5. His lightsaber is cool, yo. Stop hatin' on mah boi.
  6. Has anyone considered setting up a Comic + Firearm booth? Maybe the old metal tools would deter some nasty thieves...
  7. @Krismusic - explain yourself! I know you have a sense of humor in there...
  8. How dare you react "confused" to my post. Kylo Ren is one of the only good characters thru 2 movies. I guess it's a personal continuation of the last 2 trilogies, though. As Vader is my favorite character from IV-VI, and Maul/Tyranus/Sidious were my favorites I-III... Something about all that black with the red lightsaber... I don't find any of the heroes compelling. BB8 is probably the best of them all.
  9. Emotional depth in villains is hard to come by. Vader was a cold and calculating menace. Kylo Ren differentiating from that trope was good, fresh, direction. I hope it plays into his demise.
  10. Trick question. I think my dad tried harder. Rian Johnson succeeded more, though.
