  1. I have no idea how that answers my question, but, okay!
  2. Remind me in 10 years and I'll reconsider.
  3. That's literally counter-intuitive and incorrect. Bid retractions have nothing to do with a "lack of integrity". Your final sentence has nothing to do with this subject.
  4. That doesn't mean anything to the general scope of auctions that are not live.
  5. I prefer not to. I wasn't talking about you, though, if that's the clarification you're looking for.
  6. It's none of your business. Stuff happens. Punishing bid retraction would only increase the problem of non-paying bidders.
  7. Bloviating the thread into a lock, as usual, I see...
  8. Like what...? There's literally nothing eBay can do. And, no, their shouldn't be. That would only increase the problem. I have had to retract bids before. Bidders shouldn't be penalized for this.
  9. Says the guy who literally used a censored insult in a response. That's literally taking it way too literally, dude. Calm down.
  10. I have a ton of DC Animated movies on my PC that a mutual friend put on there in December. I'm looking for some opinions on: Overall greatness. Faithfulness to source material. Marvel movies worth getting and watching. Let me have 'em!
  11. You're taking everything far too literally.
  12. You can't limit what I can and cannot identify as. Next, you're gonna say my brother can't identify as a potato with limbs...
  13. Based on my research - that isn't true. There are even people here who say it increases value (it doesn't for me). Obviously the signature isn't verified and could be fake. It's why I don't buy them. We agree on that. We also agree that it narrows the market. However, SS products are also a more-narrow market. Prices are always higher on those, from my experience.
  14. I identify as an Eternal. Why didn't they cast me for the lead...?
  15. Nice. Yeah, with that discount, I would feel the same. If you ever find a local shop who's also a CGC Dealer, they should be able to send it in for re-holder. I would suggest it. Should cost you $15 plus whatever the local shop charges you for their services/shipping.
  16. I don't think that the Qualified labels devalue "signed" books. Maybe a tiny bit if the buyer thinks the sig reduces the comic's condition. The CGC case just won't protect any signatures. Probably very easy to clean off with your own sweat/oil...
  17. CGC Gets Cash And because of the first acronym - it goes infinite.
  18. They authenticate. As in, "this product is authentic (or not, hence restoration detection, and qualified labels for writing/clippings), but also, here's our opinion of its condition".
