  1. Not sure why I didn't grade this one. I would've said 8.5 IMO. Too much edge wear and aging to get 9.2 or above.
  2. Are these "leaks"? A lot of it doesn't seem realistic for the MCU and within a Spider-Man film.
  3. I was just correcting your misinformation. There's a big collected editions market.
  4. There is definitely a market for collected editions. Prices ebb and flow, as with all things, but people are buying them all the time. Omnibuses and Absolute Editions are regularly sold above MSRP. Slipcase sets, too.
  5. For my next topic: "Is There An Inevitable Crash On the Horizon!?"
  6. I prefer rehashing the same topics over, and over, and over again...
  7. I don't think this is an option. That's for things like a missing page, stamp cut out, etc. I don't see this getting below a 5.0 - even considering minor staple rust. I could see it getting as high as 6.5 maybe. I can't really be sure. CGC is allegedly a little loose on Golden Age. It's a gorgeous book.
  8. I've "had" to work through lunch before to meet quoting deadlines. I've also chosen to work through lunch to leave early. It's not always moonshine and dead sunflowers...
  9. Why would I "go back to work" at lunch..? Just stop spreading misinformation. That's all.
  10. Doesn't matter. This is one of the best ones (if not the best one). Users with information galore. Everyone who isn't a troll is welcome here, and they do not have to collect CGC products. It is pretentious to communicate such a guideline that doesn't exist and that you have no authority to spread the misinformation of. That's all. For the record: I have no idea who you are specifically talking about. I'm simply conveying that such a rule doesn't exist.
  11. I'm guessing that gilding protects pages from the aging process? I never really considered that. I just notice that my Encyclopedia Britannica/Great Books/etc (from 1995) all appear ageless. Gild your omnibuses, hardcovers, and TPBs!
  12. She could do a few squats instead of reading her subscription to "Scientists of America".
  13. Oh, gotcha. That's true. It's just really tough for me to pinpoint things like chips and overhang. I try not to be too harsh there, and try not to be too lenient for things like being in good shape for Golden Age.
  14. Idk. I feel like our amateur consensus tends to be very accurate. For those that didn't read - the book was pressed prior to encapsulated. So, we may have been a little strict, but the book wasn't graded as-shared in the OP. There are no objective grades, after all. Other than Gem Mint, which I don't think there should be any wiggle room.
  15. The only comic I own that might be a 4.0 is the wraparound variant of X-Men #1 from 1991. You can have it for tree fiddy.
