  1. Seriously!? It's long AF. 3.5 hours IIRC? If you like realistic Sci-Fi stuff, it's amazing. I honestly can't think of a single bad aspect to the film. It has some twists. It has an amazing soundtrack. I also think Neil Degrasse Tyson praised it for its realistic scientific theories. I highly recommend it.
  2. What are your intentions? If you plan on selling it - leave the restoration removal/conservation to the experts. Otherwise, I would bag and board it rather than give it the PLOD. It looks very nice as-is.
  3. I had to begin the finishing touches on my apartment, so I put Interstellar on the TV in the background, instead.
  4. There's a theater < 10 miles out that's showing it, and when I looked at reserved tickets it was nearly sold out, but that theater hasn't upgraded their screens in 11 years.
  5. A good analysis IMO. I disagree on Fury, only because this was him before he saw everything he saw prior to Iron Man/Avengers. When my best friend first saw it, he said "it seems like a Top 10 MCU film to me". I said, "let's go through every film and see how they stack up against each other". In the end, we agreed that it only tops 3-4 other films (The Incredible Hulk, Thor: The Dark World, and GotG Vol. 2). Easily at the bottom of the pile. So, while Captain Marvel is a mediocre movie, it's a bad MCU film IMO.
  6. I'm not a fan of The Joker being involved with a young Bruce Wayne in any manner, really. Everyone seems to want to make everything a relationship. "Oh, Rey has to be related to a Skywalker, or Obi-Wan, or Sideous." "Oh, the Joker has to be Bruce Wayne's half-brother." Just let characters be characters. Not everything has to be relative.
  7. Rock 'n' Roll Nightmare has to be the worst movie ever filmed. Just watched the RiffTrax on Saturday with my older brother. Wow. There aren't words...
  8. I wanted to see it for a 6th time yesterday, but the 2 closest good theaters aren't showing Endgame anymore...
  9. Uh, hello..? The era of their first label is an era. So, yes, it does have something to do with it. People seem to agree that the 1st label era was a "stricter" grading period. So pressing doesn't flatten books, you say..? Yikes.
  10. He did this in the age where you can get a video game delivered to your front door on opening day.
  11. It's a little different because of distribution "SOP". I agree that it should negatively impact the grade, but, I also understand why CGC does not punish with lower grades for something very common depending on the age in which they were sold.
  12. I lined up outside of a JC Penney on Black Friday once. It was only to help my mom get an extra free ornament, since she'd been collecting them annually for my 2 cousins, and my grandmother was in Florida that year. I think my younger brother has lined up outside for a video game before. What a dummy.
  13. Impossible to say since grading is subjective...
  14. Just buy the PayPal Cash card or w/e it's called. You probably have to use MoneyGram if you don't buy the card...
  15. Old labels were graded under more "strict" standards, for sure. This appears to be a common perception from everything I've read. Not sure why you think it's ambiguous.
