    Thank lord for collected editions and omnibuses. Imagine if you had to collect runs to read old stories. There's a Modern character run I'm considering collecting in SS 9.8s. I'd have no idea where to start if I was gonna go after a vintage run... Superman/Batman is just too ridiculous cost-wise to even consider.

    I remember when the first Batman: Damned #1 Gem Mint on eBay sold for $8k. Must be kicking him/her self. I learned a long time ago not to go after the 1st sale. A gilded deck of playing cards (crowdfunded on Kickstarter) that hit eBay for the 1st time went for $900. I waited out the craze and got one for $300. Patience is a virtue.

    I liked MIB as a kid/teen. Actually saw the 1st one on TV recently. Love Hemsworth and Thompson, but not really interested in seeing this, maybe until it's on TV.

    Imagine if CGC added an Edit Profile function; "Choose the dessert of choice for your birthday icon: Cake or Pie". I used to be more of a pie guy, until I had a Reese's cake, and Red Velvet cake... Dutch Apple Pie is still amazing, though.

    Residue from sonic welding? When I engineered thermal/acoustical shields, the sonic welding process would yield "residue" from the material fusion.

    Sadly, all of the Transformers movies after the 1st one are awful. Transformers were a huge part of my childhood. Optimus saying, "join us or die" to the Dinobots near the end was just a huge cringe moment.

    Punisher: War Zone is both the worst comic book movie, and worst overall film, I have ever seen. The Last Jedi is in the Top 5. Jumper might be the worst non-comic movie I've ever seen.

    3.0-3.5 IMO.

    They try to make me empathetic to the humans in the movie and it just doesn't work. It takes away from what could be better-written plot. Even though Godzilla circa 2014 still had the human element, I thought it wasn't overdone and helped moved the plot along. I still haven't had a chance to see KOTM, but from the trailers it seems like there's more human BS in what should just be a gratuitous Kaiju bloodbath.
