  1. What @RockMyAmadeus said, but if you don't go that route, CGC would not re-grade the comic in this instance since the damage to the case would not affect the condition of the comic.
  2. I guess I'll see it on TV in a few years (since it won't be on Netflix, right?). X-Men was my 1st love. Screw Fox for messing up Phoenix (twice) and Apocalypse. Never got to see X-Man or Sinister (hopefully the MCU will do them correctly). Magneto was my favorite comic character for a long time as a kid/teen, so at least he was performed well by both actors (though I was never a fan of Magneto being so old in the original trilogy). I think that Marvel Studios needs to give us a big break from X-Men for awhile. We've been seeing their movies for 19 years now. Wait until 2024-2025 to reboot them plz.
  3. I told you it would suck. There are people out there that like War Zone, Fant4stic, and The Incredible Hulk...
  4. I have a 5-color Sliver Commander deck that uses the dual lands that enter play tapped or pay 2 life. The ABU dual lands (especially with U) are ridiculously expensive.
  5. Dang, those covers are really nice.
  6. I had to look up the meaning of this, but, yes.
  7. I'm trying to use my X-Ray vision...
  8. Yez. I just haven't ventured out of Modern Signature Series until recently.
  9. As the generations get younger, they get seemingly more poor. So, IMO, the prices are gonna drop eventually. The inflation can't/won't continue forever.
  10. I think it does, just maybe not as severely as you or some would like. It seems like CGC does not grant Gem Mints or 9.9s to comics that aren't perfectly centered. After the knock down to 9.8, I don't think they take it into further consideration. That's all conjecture, though.
  11. Do you know anything about DC Comics/The Joker, or are you just a Marvel fan? "All it takes is one bad day..." There are plenty of movies with fantastic trailers, that turned out to be mediocre (Justice League), or worse. We've only seen 1 Teaser Trailer. Way too early for such a negative connotation.
  12. I was in middle school during Spider-Man 2 and had literally no knowledge or interest in behind-the-scenes stuff. So, for you common knowledge, but for me it's something I never knew or cared about. Prince of Persia could have been a factor why he didn't want to portray a hero for Marvel Studios, considering the time of that movie/franchise. I just remember him saying that he specifically didn't want to do that (at the time). IIRC, at the same time he did say he'd be interested in being a villain (for Marvel or DC), which is why the Mysterio announcement/reveal didn't surprise me at all. The last time I remember reading anything about it was maybe 2015(?). Things change. I think Ledger also said he didn't want anything to do with comic movies, then he wanted to be Batman, and 'settled' for the Joker. "Nothing lasts forever", said Romanoff.
  13. I suppose I could buy CGC, crack them (since the restoration check was already 'verified'), and store them safely otherwise. Then the number wouldn't bother my OCD since I'd only have the book bagged-and-boarded. I'd take a loss if I ever had to re-sell, but that actually sounds like a decent plan, now that I've typed it out.
  14. no. Neck-beard gives you more credibility. You also have to defend Rey "not being a Mary Sue". Tell everyone that only sexist mouth-breathers don't think Captain Marvel is a great/perfect movie (regardless of whether or not they like/love Wonder Woman). Rian Johnson is a genius for putting Purple Hair Lady in charge. Men are the devil. Etc etc etc. Somehow it makes money? I mean, I don't have any evidence of this, but they own a computer and submit blogs to a site right..?
