  1. I speak only to the movie itself. I couldn't care less about $$$$$.
  2. To be fair, though, I would consider buying a 9.4 at the very lowest in Modern SS. It could sell fine if the census yields low quantities. However, I don't own any Modern SS below 9.6 grade.
  3. Idk. There's a PGX slab in one of those pictures. Can't be that great of a bag if you're putting one of those in it! I couldn't tell you off-hand what backpack I have, but it's not anything less than this campaign, and I bought it for $55 in 2017(?) I think.* The artist backpack is a different story. The comic one is just very much overpriced. It makes some sense because of the Jim Lee and DC/Batman factor, but not very sensible for anyone with a budget. *Edit: I actually don't even use that backpack anymore since my employer gave me a free one that's way better back in December.
  4. I mean, you cited a source for "laptop backpacks". I didn't assume you bought them, though, since you just bounced prices off of it. You can get a perfect backpack for comic collecting for $60 (or less) at tons of other sites. The "artist" backpack or whatever, Idk if that's worth the $120 pledge price, but the "comic" backpack is very much overpriced IMO.
  5. The "artist edition" or whatever is fairly specialized, but the "comic collector backpack" product is priced twice as high as similar products.
  6. Idk where you're buying backpacks from, but you can get a backpack of this campaign's quality for half the price of these pledge tiers.
  7. It's not bad at all. I think I gave it a B-. The 3rd act is awesome. When Iron Man and War Machine destroy those drones? >insert eggplant emoji<
  8. Infinity War and Endgame are thematic examples of sacrifice, change, family, and boundaries, both sides of the coin. Thanos sacrificed everything he had to complete his goal. Tony Stark sacrificed himself to save everything he had.
  9. I remember in the 90's I had quite a few valuable hockey cards that become seemingly worthless at the turn of the 21st century.
  10. I think I watched the entire series A-Z on TV. Just always happened to be on right after work in the AM and fit right into my relaxing-before-sleep time years ago. It got too dramatic after Season 5, I think it was, and the drama lasted too long. It was a drag for a little bit. Overall it was a very good show, though.
  11. That's what arguing about stupid will do. "Here is CGC's policy." "But yadda yadda yadda." "Doesn't matter. CGC." "But I disagree." "We're talking about CGC here, not whatever malarky you're spewing." And the vicious cycle continues because common sense just isn't so common these days...
  12. You are wrong. There isn't a single logical person here, or who works for CGC, that is going to support your obviously incorrect stance. It will never receive an SS label unless it is signed (again, allegedly) in the correct manner that earns a CGC SS label. This isn't CBCS or PGX. There are standards to be upheld. /thread
  13. I have, in the past and rarely present, considered going for the "1 and only" Mint 9.9 book on the census. Why pay $500+ for a 9.9 when I can get a 9.8 for $100? The difference in grade is negligible and subjective. Waste of money. Now, if there's a Gem Mint 10, I would consider going after one if I truly want it, regardless of census numbers, because there is no higher grade. I would have to agree that it appears Gem Mint, though.
  14. Yeah, it's cool, but ridiculously overpriced. Thanks for letting me know which backpacks to steal in the future, though!
  15. X-Men is a classic and world-recognized title. Disney would be stupid to change it, and Kevin Feige would be stupid to pander to modern over-sensitivity.
  16. "(P)" sounds like "Professional" AKA A1. I would call CGC to confirm that relation, but it sounds like it'd receive a Conserved label.
