  1. Variants suck. If you really want them, for whatever reason, MCS seemingly has all of them listed when you search for an issue.
  2. Yeah, it was discovered a few years ago. They're hot-pink colored and defend themselves with cyanide spit. Truly disgusting creatures. I learned about them in this video (big fan of Hybrid Librarian): Edit: I could've sworn they're native to Vietnam, but I guess it's actually Thailand. You're safe!
  3. Only half of all sentient life. Creatures with complex brains and free will. Not living things like plants that are symbiotic in nature that require rooting, etc. More birds are what Ant-man saw return after Professor Hulk's snap.
  4. Any amateur hour can devise their own blended scotch at home, better than Blue Label, for a fraction of the price. Blended scotches are not "bad" by default. Blue Label is ridiculously overpriced, by hundreds of percent, for what it is. It's not as "complex" as the sum of its parts. In fact, blends primarily exist to mask the presumed defects of its counterparts. It's like freezing a bottle to numb its stronger/undesired flavor(s). Famous Grouse is better and at a fraction of the cost. If Blue Label were about $75 I probably wouldn't have a gripe.
  5. "Too many mouths - not enough to go around." His MCU premise is better than Infinity Gauntlet's. They didn't have a lot to work with there. Most villains' plans aren't ironclad. It's why we relate to heroes more - because we want to be heroes and we want to be logical. Villains are typically insane, or insanely motivated. In Thanos' case, he thinks he's right because his idea wasn't tested on Titan and it became a wasteland. He thinks that by eliminating half of sentient life, they'll expand less, and the natural resources will last longer and be cared for better. He also thinks it's his destiny to 'correct' the universe. After he was done, he didn't care about the lives left. He went to The Garden to live out his lonely death. Not a benevolent task. People IRL murder for religion all the time. Thanos mass-murdered for what he believes is right. It's realistic regardless of how insane it may seem from an outside perspective.
  6. He can act, at least. Maybe the announcement of Pattinson was to stretch our expectations as low as possible so we can't be pissed if/when they select a less-than-fabulous actor!?
  7. You should've gone up to him every week and said, "excuse me", and try to get to the lack of space in front of him. That's what an a-hole like me would've done had I seen the same thing happen every week. You could've been a real-life hero!
  8. Can't really see Hoult as Bruce/Batman. He seems like a better cool Robin or Nightwing type. He'd be a better casting than Pattinson, though...
  9. I think anything under 3-1/2 stars is considered "rotten". I've seen seemingly "positive" reviews with 3 stars, and it leaves me wondering, "why did you only give it 3 stars, then..?"
  10. The lack of higher-grade security, I would suspect, will reduce his payout. As the insurance agent, I would be concerned that allegedly "$42k" of goods weren't as safe/secure as possible.
  11. Me too. I have to pickup Absolute Justice League (New 52), also. They're both 50% off at InStockTrades right now.
  12. People are obsessed with price tags. One of the dumbest 'brags' ever. It's why (insert group insult here) buy JW Blue Label at whatever ridiculous cost it is today instead of Macallan or Glenmorangie Signet. JW Blue is pure trash compared to literally any/every single malt...
  13. My alternate personality will be VP.
  14. I blame Marvel Studios. Seriously, though, the theft is starting to ____ me off. All it does is further inflate prices. And, that, without people actually buying anything. TwoPiece for President 2024. I will run on the single platform of higher punishment for any/all collectible abuse.
  15. You suckers need to stop giving grades for books without back cover images, and inside bags... Order in the court!
  16. It's kinda how feedback attracts more negativity than positivity (Chrome says this is not a word..?). Stupidity draws crowds here. And, yes, I am a sucker.
  17. He would have to have them appraised, or have them listed-and-approved at a certain price, right? Obviously I have literally no understanding of business insurance whatsoever.
  18. Woooooooooow. It's this kinda thing that led me to make sure I could add limited titles (Batman: Damned and Superman: Year One) to my pull list. I didn't wanna have to pay $40+ again for a single issue. That sucks.
