  1. I only drink the Kool-Aid at cult gatherings. The poison never seems to work...
  2. I don't see the relevance of the bolded. Each grader has their own subjective opinion. There is no objective scale. Their scale tells you how many/large a defect ranges a grade, though. I find that books in 9.0 grade and higher have flaws ridiculously easy to spot (albeit small). I haven't had a single disagreement when I've bought/seen a book in CGC grade 9.0+. Could be an anomaly, but I am doubting it.
  3. Somewhere in the 7.0-7.5 range IMO. I'm not sure about any pressing.
  4. I wouldn't suggest that you use a product or service that you don't like or don't want to use. CGC isn't a necessity by any means. There's nothing wrong with buying and selling raw comic books - at all. Do whatever you want! I just wouldn't hammer CGC on their own boards for having seemingly stricter standards than you. That's all.
  5. I think that DC Comics is the one that created the series naming convention.
  6. I agree that the defect appears to be "press-able", but will unlikely affect the CGC grade.
  7. Series finale of Gotham was underwhelming. Jump ship!
  8. Allow me to reiterate: CGC has a transparent Grading Scale and conveys that more than 1 grader examines each book. They also have millions of examples that you can examine to get a good grasp on how certain defects affect their opinion of a comic book.
  9. With the lower price of 3D tickets (compared back to 2009), if Endgame manages to pass it, I doubt any of the sequels will.
  10. Okoye has a better haircut than Captain Marvel. < $100,000,000 to go. Is it going to pass Avatar before it leaves theaters? It's only been out 6 weeks.
  11. Tony Stark called Rocket "Ratchet" when he was working on the Quantum Tunnel at Avengers HQ.
  12. I haven't seen you post in the PGM section of the boards, and I'm not just going to take your word that you're some grading guru. CGC has mostly-transparent practices and I very rarely disagree with the grade of a book in one of their slabs. I'm leaning towards the "you're not as good at grading as you think you are" camp. Sorry not sorry. Edit: Also - grading is subjective. Knowing customers are not going to pound you for stating your estimated grade. If you're selling SA and BA, then you likely have knowledgeable customers more often than not. They know what they're getting into.
  13. A (assuming) Mexican-American lady spoke to me about the benefits of a Meijer credit card - wearing her uniform. The Meijer is across the street...
  14. Says the guy who posted the same thing 5 times in another thread...
  15. Now that you mention it - yeah, I don't recall Rhodey being all that front-and-center, especially since Nebula didn't stick with him and had her own Time Quest. He was there in the beginning, went to The Garden, and communicated with Natasha so Idk.
