Were any of the last couple Terminators any good? I have seen any since T3.

The attraction, which was clearly defined by me, of thieves to CVS is the same as "comic investors" to this app. Any further inference is unrelated and not implied. Comic flippers, who are a disservice to the hobby, will be attracted to the app.

Why, though? You think they're going to age well and be worth something? What makes your 9.8 Modern any different from a raw? There's really no concern with restoration or validation. No concern with condition because of this ongoing age of comic collectibles.

If you're delusional enough to think that the people who come here asking for the 'flavor of the week I can flip next year' are not going to use this app, then ignorance truly is bliss...

Yes. I worked there as a Manager for a few years. I think corporate/regional return policies have changed since I left years ago, but a thief could make hundreds of dollars/day with their stupid policies. It pissed me off when I worked there.

Does he have a price in mind or is he asking you to throw out the first figure?

There are obviously other aspects to the app, but I agree that this is gonna be a go-to tool for the tools who want to "invest" in comic books (and therefor reduce the quantity available to real collectors, or people who know what they're doing otherwise). It highlights the aspect that appeal to those tools. It's kinda how CVS used to appeal to thieves by having the worst Return Policy ever. It's gonna have a negative stigma attached, unfortunately. I have no use for it, but good luck.

Knowing your limits is always the best bet. The problem with the bolded way of thinking is that 'playing the game' becomes a subconscious mental requirement even if you keep losing, and losing, and losing... If you don't "play the game" then you have nothing to lose. Buying comics as "investments" is mostly a losing bet. Switching playing styles won't change ineptitude and wrong gambles.

I think you're being paranoid. The book is examined by more than 1 grader, and it would have to be an astronomical anomaly for all of them to miss any trimming. Congrats on the upgrade.
