  1. Pattinson doesn't have a huge following. His character in Twilight has a huge following. There's a distinct difference. I think you're wrong if he's cast as Batman.
  2. 3 parts, technically. Justice League 2 was going to have the heroes go to Apokolips to face Steppenwolf, only to find him dead at the hands of Darkseid. They would lose that battle. Justice League 3 was going to have Darkseid invade Earth and lose to an expansive Justice League (including Green Lantern, Blue Beetle, etc). Green Lantern and Jaime Reyes were supposed to cameo in Snyder's 2.5-hour cut of the film. Justice League 3 was never supposed to be foreshadowed. We were intentionally led to believe it was only a 2-part story. Snyder wanted to 'surprise' us with Justice League 3 sometime after the 2nd one was produced and released.
  3. I would have loved to see a Batman film written and directed by Affleck, even if he wasn't starring as Bruce Wayne. Justice League was one of my most-anticipated movies of all-time. JL was my favorite comic cartoon for a long time. My mind was all Killmonger, "I waited my entire life for this", leading up to the movie. I was so torn when I saw it in theaters, and my heart has been broken ever since I found out Snyder was canned and he had no real control over the film after he allegedly "stepped back". My life will never be complete without a Justice League Snyder Cut. It's one thing I don't think I'll ever be able to cross off my bucket list. It's sad.
  4. We are on opposite sides of the spectrum. I liked Howard's character more, because he was more of a friend to Tony in Iron Man. Cheadle's Rhodey seems to be more service-aligned. I prefer Cheadle's performances, though.
  5. The acting, or the character? You can tell which scenes Whedon directed based on Ben's weight.
  6. Idk how I missed this post, but this is awesome. I've have The Crow SS collecting goal in the back of my mind for awhile.
  7. What about it? Are you asking if it qualifies as an answer to the topic? It's only 4 issues, right?
  8. I think his famed "sadness" was the disappointment in the reception of Snyder's vision. I know Affleck had a lot of emotional stock in it (as do I). I would be surprised if he felt his individual performance was being heavily criticized. This is why we need a Snyder Cut. I bet you his Batman was just as great in the Snyder Cut of Justice League. I wanna have 'faith' in Reeves, but at this point with Worlds of DC seemingly in shambles (Affleck gone, seeming indecision of Cavill, etc), we need better than drek casting to rise interest in future productions. This isn't the MCU with tons of good will. This is a universe with tons of divisive, weird, and downright poor decision-making.
  9. I'm assuming by "LS" you mean the 1986 5-issue series?
  10. Limited aka contained series. Can't be something like Detective Comics Knightfall, because 'Tec is an ongoing series. Or Death of Superman, etc. Something like Watchmen, or Justice, which are defined limited titles.
  11. I understand the reach of Reeves' control, my man. That doesn't mean he's in universal control of everything, though. I don't think there was any divisive reaction to Affleck's Batman. Most people seem to think he was the best part of BvS, of those who don't care for the movie. His 'meh' performance in Justice League seems to be a product of Snyder's absence and Whedon's influence (as with most things in that movie). He got all fat, and sad, and bad at sports. Pattinson would be the very definition of "drek casting".
  12. Consensus says otherwise, though. Maybe you lived in a small bubble that was 'ahead of the curve'. That didn't make the practice common, though. Thanks for your service, FYI. I don't really care for your antics on the boards, here, but I respect you for serving our country.
  13. I thought it was fairly slow and boring, especially compared to the other books in the series. Again, it's not bad for a Modern story, at all. The artwork is tremendous. IMO Shazam is the best of the solo stories. Then probably Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman, in that order.
  14. I think you're paranoid. No one is eavesdropping on your mundane conversations.
  15. Sure. Were you in the Navy during the 70's and 80's when backing boards were uncommon?
  16. Inspired by @NoMan's recent topic of "Single Best 1-Issue Story"... What's your favorite limited series story (maximum of 12 issues)?
  17. Hmm... If true, I think the dictionary should change its definition...
  18. Aren't you the guy that inherited his collection from his brother? Now, you've been a collector since the 70's..? Okay...
  19. Vintage wines and scotch, among other varieties, are not cheap. I "collect" and drink scotch.
