No. Common sense says to never trust someone who claims their open product is "unread". The overall condition is what matters - not whether or not someone has gazed upon the insides. There could be unidentified flaws in a legitimately unread magazine/product.

I feel like I'm really poor in grading with "big" imperfections, so this makes me feel better. In my head I think I'm deducting too harshly or not enough. Maybe I'm getting better!

I feel you. I've had several "notifications" regarding posts that break no guidelines. A pesky member* has even publicly stated that he reports me in an effort to get me banned. Moderation should have a list of "Person X who reports Person Y for any/every reason" and ignore those reports. Honest members will report a post that is actually doing the site a disservice, so it won't give said Person Y immunity or anything. *Ironically, this person posted in this thread within the last day.

I was speaking mostly within the MCU. I liked Larson in 21 Jump Street, so I know she can act. IMO she didn't do Captain Marvel any favors, but she didn't really hurt the character, I guess. Olsen's acting as Scarlet Witch is pretty good. She's was okay in Godzilla IMO. There's a funny review out there that includes/mentions Larson not moving her face in Captain Marvel. The supporting footage of this really makes me cringe. That might be why some would say her performance was "stale".

I doubt it and I also hope not. The Russo Bros. have told us that Endgame focuses on the Original 6. The Avengers failed in Infinity War because they were fractured, overconfident, and some unwilling to sacrifice the one for the many ("sacrifice" being a key element to the movie). 1 player should not tip the scales (especially when she's no different than Scarlet Witch, who if you remember, actually destroyed an Infinity Stone). I'd like to see some failure and humility from Carol Danvers prior to success. If she gets her ace handed to her from Thanos, and realizes that she's not the single answer, I will be rooting for her.

Was Alex Ross the 1st to design characters in a "realistic" fashion? Serious question. I think that part of the reason I love 20th century comics is the fact that they're not designed realistically. I watch the MCU/Worlds of DC etc films for the "realistic" takes on comic characters and the stories. I'm not a fan of covers not matching the interior, either. Which is likely a big factor in my disdain for most variant covers.

I auto-decline at 50% list price. I always list at maximum recent sold price, but am always willing to sell below that (some people just BIN without an offer, so why put myself out of potentially extra profit!?). I won't entertain awful "Best Offers", though.
