  1. I'm looking to score in the 9.2+ range, if slabbed. "Grail"-type stuff. There are some okay ones out there. The 9.0+s seem to have pretty bad wraps. I saw the HA auctioned a CGC 9.8 in 2012 that has a very bad wrap IMO. White PQ, though... Is this not an era quality problem, then? Is is mostly on an issue-to-issue basis..?
  2. Interesting title, I guess. How much is Disney+'s service cost? I'd be interested in checking these out when they launch.
  3. Additional question: If the cover appears to be perfect, is it likely to have been pressed? I ask, because I've seen a couple of nice raw copies, but they are nowhere near the same condition as the encapsulated ones.
  4. So, I'm looking into buying a Thor #126 (preferably CGC'd, but might go for a raw issue) and noticed that almost all of them are printed by Arvel comics. Are there specific time periods where the wraps are consistently this bad? It's a huge turn-off for me.
  5. Wait! If I can choose an actual book, I'd keep Absolute Kingdom Come, instead.
  6. Damn you for making me use my heart and cranium this early. It would have to be The Dark Knight Returns #1.
  7. This is not what I thought it would be... Cool story, though (no sarcasm). A prime example of correctly "doing your homework". Take notes, n00bs.
  8. Some of the "positive" reviews: "It's like watching 30 comic books in one! Awesome!" What!? That sounds just awful... Sounds like they crammed a trilogy into 1 movie.
  9. I kinda like the trailer. I can understand why some wouldn't. It's not great enough to any degree that I would understand anyone "loving" it. There's something to be said about the "sympathy" of the character, though: "All it takes is one bad day." One bad day won't twist most people into the (mostly) psychopath that The Joker is, but it's not like he was just born The Joker. They are drawing inspiration from The Killing Joke.
  10. 100% agree. Hopefully they stay true to the iconic villainy of the character and don't go the anti-hero route. I'll be pissed if they do the latter.
  11. That front cover is gorgeous but the back cover is a disappointment, sadly. A 4.5 IMO.
  12. I'd like to know what the OP ends up doing, but I fear that this may be another one-and-done...
  13. I also actively avoid: Nerdin Out On YouTube/Podcast. So annoying.
  14. You already said you don't know. You can't tell someone else that they're wrong when you don't know but they do. That's illogical.
