It occurred to me that while they did stay away from the uber bad guy/alien slug fest vs Supergirl, it did make for a better story. More drama is good.

Interesting how they spelled his name back then. Was it wrong then? Is it wrong now? When did it change? One can't be right. Horrors, I just realized I may have been spelling it wrong the last 50 years.

I picked these up at a garage sale this morning, nice little seven issue run! Atom & Hawkman 39-45 - from the same litter too, looks like. Brothers! But seriously, take a look at the quality! Garage sale! Were those the only comics they had? Seems like an odd set of books to find randomly and all by themselves at a garage sale. Nice job! They had so many boxed action figures that it rivaled an actual retailer's stock. Also tons of trades and graphic novels. There were also three longs and one short box of comics, but mostly from the 80s and up - lots of Star Comics and New Universe from Marvel. These were the only real vintage books I could find. I know they're not highly desirable but well pleased nonetheless. You kidding! I want them and so does everyone on this board. Nice find.

So, anyone know how to properly say Mxyzptlk? I'm sure there's gotta' be a few of you out there.

I did watch the original movie a few weeks back and from what I can tell is what's happening in the series in greater detail translates to what happened to the machines; particularly the character played by Yul Brunner, who simply rebels after being shot 3 times by one of the tourists over a course of 3 days. What makes the series interesting and watchable are the intricacies in how the machines become aware and what happens as a result. In the movie the main character playing the machine gets shot 3 or 4 times and then goes rogue. No time spent on how he becomes aware, his level of awareness or exactly why it's rebelled. He simply goes all Terminator wanting to get the guy that shot him.

Sorry, I gotta' ask this. I can't check, because I already deleted the episode. How did the axe wind up on top of the wheeler? I remember him throwing it outside, figuring it would land about 10 or 15 feet on the ground from where the vehicle was. Did he in fact chuck it on the roof?

I watched it a couple weeks ago and from what I can remember, he actually kills only 2 people. One a guest, and the other an individual that was employed at Westworld. Then, his gun ran out of batteries and he had to go all Terminator like. Many of the other guests got wasted by other robots who all went crazy.

I'm fascinated in the goings-on in Gotham before the Batman. It's enough for me...right up there with Arrow, Flash. Shield, Legends and Supergirl. Guess I'm a sucker for comic themed shows.

I think a 69 year old Arnold is perfect as it's obvious you need an older actor to play the part of King Conan. A younger actor wouldn't work. After all, he wasn't 30 or 40 when he took the throne but probably in his late 50's or early '60's.

Anyone notice how that "look" is so similar to the character we thought may have been a young Joker in Gotham?

I need to know....is it graemlin or gremlin? To all of those who've never done this before please be aware the graemlins (or gremlins) don't mean a thing....or do they?

I don't know, I don't mind that Jimmy is not a red head, I got over the difference because I love Mehcad Brooks' sense of humor and he's gorgeous to boot. HOWEVER, shouldn't Supes be taller than Jimmy? It looks like Jimmy could take Superman and toss him like a football (the other show I liked him in;) Nah, don't worry. There's no way they would pick an actor for Superman shorter than Jimmy. He's obviously standing on a box.
