Any Cankor fans able to lend a hand re: FMV?

You’d have to ask them but I bet it wouldn’t fly due to the possibility of gaming the system. -
Any Cankor fans able to lend a hand re: FMV?

I’m a Cankor and Matt Allison fan but I’m not aware of any sales that have occurred since I’ve been interested in it. I’m sure that would sell for $500 but for $1000? Maybe not… but maybe, who knows. -

I stopped in a few shops out of town. I was real happy with Spawn newsstands in nice shape. They had many more but these were the cleanest.

Who's buying Dell Four Color at Heritage?

You might just list a handful here and see if the buyer appears and tell them you have many more. -

Yeah the first miniseries is worth good money. That retailer incentive isn’t bad. There is a limited edition art book out there’s that’s worth about $1000 and the regular edition is about $200 I think. The second series I picked up most covers A & B but isn’t worth a whole lot. It did make me watch the trailer and I’ll probably watch the series with my older kid. -

I like Terry Moore but I haven’t looked at that one yet. He had some more of them I could pick up but I don’t know if I’ll get around to looking at those. -

These were all $1. It was at a big warehouse that has pallets of books in giant bins and tons of movies. I was excited to see the early Olsen. Most of the books were really beat up. These were pretty nice. -

I think this is the last of it. These were $2 each for the bagged books and $1 for the unbagged. These were around 10% off. Worked out on the 2nd print Power Rangers 9, around $70 book. Happy to have 300 I’ve been meaning to pick it up for a while. These were all 25% off. The first Lobo appeared to be perfect when I was there but then when I got home saw a flaw on the bottom left corner so probably not higher than 9.4 too bad I was in a hurry. -

These were all just over 10% off. To be honest I should have left all the A-Force except one or two of them. -

Here are some more I picked up. The Over the Garden Wall were a very good deal, the Steven Universe not bad but the Regular Show I should have left. These were all 25% off. -

I picked up a lot of books this weekend. I got a lot of these 2016 Power Rangers virgin variant covers. It took me a while to figure out what they were. I checked out what he had then went back for the ones I wanted. These were all 25% off. -
I wonder if any YouTuber is sending in comics with checker traps and seeing if they notice it. Seems like a good way to get tons of views on a video.

CGC is trying to churn through so many comics and cards now, they won’t notice anything.
-
Since it should be a given that they grade the interior of the book in addition to the cover I took this part of the new guidance as a way of alluding to the inflated grades without actually mentioning it and to try to give a plausible explanation, like we didn’t pay enough attention to the interior of the book. but now I don’t know.

Are they giving away their stock? Can I have their number.

Do you guys use those special bigger short boxes for CGC books. I don’t have many but was thinking about getting one. I haven’t seen them around though.

The Official Commission Collecting Thread

This glorious piece by Matt Allison was just finished. I can’t wait to get it. I just asked for something inspired by David Cronenberg’s films. -

I picked these up at the same flea market but a different collection. They were all half off. i also picked these up from the original collection I’ve been raiding. These were all 25% off. -
This one appears to be made from the omnibus or Milestone edition. I think the best way here is the dot matrix printing of old Vs what you see there. Also the interior cover appears to be from a copy of the actual comic which has faded and uneven ink while presumably the rest of the comic doesn’t. My Mom had dementia and was swindled for more than $10k so I hate even the idea of these things.

I see they located the staples way off the fold too. If someone went to a lot of trouble they could replace the staples or just move them to the right place but the holes should still be there.
