  1. Yes. She and Clint had a conversation, which is why I'm positing him specifically as someone who could've been there for her.
  2. But that doesn't explain why one of Wanda's friends wasn't with her during this hard time for her. Like I said, that's what you would do for your friend who'd lost their partner--you'd be there for them. Clint was obviously aware of her pain--it's not like his wife would mind him going with her as emotional support to recover the body of her loved one.
  3. Honestly, I get it, even if it surprised/upset me. People dealing with grief like this get the shaft all the time, even from their friends. It's realistic, which is great and awful at the same time.
  4. Something that struck me rewatching the SWORD scene...why was nobody with Wanda? Not one Avenger went with her to reclaim the body of her loved one? I can't imagine someone being alone during an event like that unless they had literally nobody else, and we know that isn't the case, because of the conversation she had with Clint after Tony's funeral. It really affected me, and does so more and more on each rewatch.
  5. I suppose one easy route to Magneto being their parents is that they were left as "orphans", and the parents we saw in this episode took them in; maybe Magneto abandoned them to protect them, or maybe their original mother gave them up, or something similar.
  6. Wouldn't surprise me at all. Some books went up, like the TOD 10 in 9.9, but that's a prime character with a movie coming. I bet other books will see a drop.
  7. That one for sure, also FF94. ASM Annual 16 probably isn't going down because of Captain Marvel 2, but I'll monitor it.
  8. Kind of hoping to see some of the WandaVision spec books die down a bit, so maybe I can pick up 4.0-6.0 copies on the downswing.
  9. I mean, there's a famous English poet who was writing about witches a century before Agatha, and it's not like he came up with the idea himself.
  10. Reasonable to think that, yeah. Medieval Europe has plenty of legends about witches/witchcraft, no doubt some of them migrated to the New World with Agatha's coven.
  11. Look, I've watched Endgame enough times that I don't have a leg to stand on (even with the extra hour). I'm just noting it.
  12. I suppose the scarcity drove it? Two people just really wanted it, and that happens sometimes in auctions? I'm not taking too much away from this particular sale.
  13. Excellent! I always look forward to this, partly because it's something I'd like to do with my CGC books, but lack the mental bandwith.
  14. It's a title. I think it's fantastic--a way to introduce it into this world organically.
  15. The latter, and I work in the white-collar profession I work in precisely because I cannot do math.
  16. Man, I would straight-up rather have the 9.8 than the 9.9. Makes no sense to me.
  17. I don't think that's true. I think fans have blown that up because we have nothing else to do. We don't know where the MCU is headed, and so WandaVision could lead in numerous directions (magic, multiverse, mutants). At this point it's much too soon to tell.
  18. Is it, though? WandaVision is part of the larger MCU, so why should we expect everything to be wrapped up now?
  19. The 9.9 TOD 10 is currently at $62,000 with 10 hours to go, so we'll see.
  20. Except that's what the early MCU movies did, too. Many of those Easter Eggs took years to actually result in something. I'll be bummed if Mephisto doesn't appear now now now, but people need to chill.
  21. After the last auction, I am atoning this time and bidding less (fewer books and lower bids). So far it's having its intended effect. So far.
