  1. Thanks for this. So frustrating to see him blame everyone else. Mike failed his customers. He failed to deliver the service he promised in a reasonable time. He spent all the customer's money before providing services. He failed to safeguard is customers books. It's just 100% failure on his part. His customers have every reason to be upset and worried and the 90% of us who never sent books to Mike aren't attacking him because we're nasty, we just feel awful for the poor guys who trusted this POS.
  2. I bought a towering oak tree off ebay
  3. Also wanted to say how much fun I had this year hanging out with my buddies kimik, 500club, artboy99, joeypost, fantasticthor and even greggy. The comics are always fun but the people are most important
  4. And a regular buyer who own a video game store told us about his experience with Mcfarlane. Got a call from Mcfarlane’s nephew saying Mcfarlane would like to come to his store for a signing. Didn’t want a lot of advance publicity to limit the crowd. McFarlane showed up at noon and walked down the line and said hello to everyone and then signed from 12:30 pm to 9 pm. Without a break. 1100 people. For free. That’s someone who doesn’t need any more money and just wants to give back and is a pretty good human being.
  5. Purchases, bought a spider-man #1 2.0, Spider-man #300, and pretty well a complete x-men run from #116 to #149. I picked up a couple books for my collection.
  6. Whew , busy show. Sales were pretty good. Sold a few higher value books but not a lot. Mostly $10 to $100 stuff and lots of books out our $3 bins. Of course anything Mcfarlane related moved, all our Spawn #1 and #9 and various issues from the run, various ASM Mcfarlane issues with a lot of requests for #316, Spider-Man #1s I think we sold 6 copies, his first DC cover infinity #14 sold and the buyer came back and showed us the book with a Mcfarlane sig and it looked wonderful. All kinds of stuff sold, there’s no understanding the hundreds of odd sales. I think that’s great as while there are the usual popular characters there are fans and buyers for almost any character that was published for a while
  7. They are wonderful. As I believe I mentioned before in this thread they were reprinted in 2022 in poster book format. They are high quality and much cheaper than the originals.
  8. Grades in. Some of you guys who can actually grade should take a shot...
  9. Agreed, I would often just pick a direction and start wandering with my pipboy playing music. Especially fallout vegas
  10. No complaints. Thanks for all the hard work organizing the poll
  11. Could you describe how you humidify books for pressing? Did you do anything while humidifying your books differently?
  12. When I didn't get my book I went back to his ebay listings and noticed he had quite a few books listed 2 or 3 times. I'd imagine the book I picked was long gone and I was buying from the duplicate listing. Looking back I probably should have chalked it all up to a donation and forgot the book but I felt like 'gol durn, I paid for a book, where is it' and I got stubborn.
  13. My quick and easy search for value is https://www.keycollectorcomics.com/series/savage-sword-of-conan,6627/?groupBy=issue&orderBy=publishedDate
  14. Agreed. I don't see any cooling of the good stuff.
  15. How can you not buy that? I've developed a love for foreign editions.
