4.5 thereabouts.
Thanks for posting.

I appreciate the responses!
I always try to take photos of my books under natural light. Yesterday was a bit cloudy in the afternoon so I think it affected the pics a bit.
There's tanning for sure but not so bad as my original post would appear to show. The covers show no sign of brittleness. I'd consider it light to moderate tanning.
These pics were taken this afternoon.
CGC's guide says moderate tanning will bring a book down to 8.0 - 9.0. Heavy tanning down to the 6.0 range. The book exhibits no other significant flaws other than some small creasing at the front cover's bottom right edge.
Personally, I think 7.0 is a fairly accurate grade. I can't see it going below a 6.5 in any case.
I'm very pleased with this long-wanted book and it's been a great read.

As I understand it, Jonah Hex "first appeared" in some in-house ads a few weeks before he debuted in All-Star Western 10. There's at least two variants. One a half page preview and another one that's full page.
Books that have this preview include Our Army at War 240 and Batman 237.
Anyone know of any others? Cover date is around Nov/Dec 1971.

Hi. I find a lot of these. I’ve had a lot of great luck hunting in the wild!!!! This was a referral from someone that reached out and stated they don’t have comics but wonder if they refer someone if there is a referral fee I would pay. So I said yes I do that. He refers me to his uncle and sets up the date and time for me. Turns out this is in Moses Lake Washington. My best friends family lives there. So we got on a plane and flew out together to see his parents and check out some comics.
The next morning we show up to a house with a shed in the back. We ended up going thru about 130 or so boxes in all. Lots of silver, bronze and copper. As we are looking he tells me “Just so you know, all my good stuff is in the house, not the shed.”
I ended up buying most of his “good stuff” and every key and great books he had from the shed. I’ll be posting a sales thread soon, these are not for sale. They are my keepers but lots of great books will be for sale from this collection. But what find. One of the top 5 collections I have picked up in the wild!!! Enjoy!!! 😍
Dang.
They're still out there. Great for you!

I passed on the free books but took advantage of the LCS' deals today. 1/2 off bin books. 25% off wall books.

I finally got a copy today. Super stoked. Figured I'd post to see if our estimates align with those of the comic shop owner.
Also, gotta prove to @scburdet every now and then that I do own some books.
Pages are OW. There is some tanning on the inside and outside of both covers.
Thanks for your opinions.
SpoilerLCS gave it a 7.0

I got the emoji. I think Mike gave this to me in round 2 as well. Those results had some bulleyes but also some moderate misses.
I'm thinking I'll end this contest with probably a PR for the most bulleyes over 4 rounds, but my final score will be marred by some of my biggest whiffs. Usually I'm off by no more than a grade or two. Not this time.
Thanks Mike for your effort in running this go around.

Regardless of the skill of the artist, I hate that style of cover. No situational peril portrayed, just a bunch of heroes grimacing and trying to look tough.

Prevalent in the 90s. What were we thinking?

It's Rogue, not sure the artist as it is just from my scrapbooking days as a kid in the late 80s early 90s.

Agreed. With a good C&P in that range.
