  1. Does not appear 5.5 to me...price reflected that imho
  2. In the interest of respecting the privacy of each individual dealer, my blanket statement would be that multiple 6 figures of dollars plus changed hands over the weekend. I believe the dealers and attendees were more than happy with the event. Entire collections were bought and sold at the show as well.
  3. I'll post info in a new thread next year for the next Summit event
  4. yes..you are correct. The last show was $100.
  5. HI Alex, Entrance fee was $50 for the 2 day event..hardly expensive? Parking was free..refreshments and food were provided for everyone throughout the show at no cost. Heritage only/generously provided the venue space. The organizer of the show booked all the dealers and made all the arrangements from beginning to end. Thank you for the feedback
  6. The Summit...has ended I want to thank all the esteemed members here who attended the event. It was a pleasure to meet everyone. The best part of the show was all the social interaction and comradery. Many thanks to @Ricksneatstuff and the entire Heritage Auctions family for all the southern hospitality. The HA family, from top to bottom, truly rolled out the red carpet for all of us. It felt like home. Mostly, our eternal gratitude to Nate @Kihei Collectibles . This is Nate's creation and he deserves to be recognized. The Collectors Summit is his labor of love and it's through this show that he is able to give back to the hobby and to our community. What initially started as an idea to gather like-minded golden age collectors together in an intimate environment has morphed into an event to celebrate our passion for the hobby. We were all able to engage with each other in a way that would be nearly impossible in today's pop-cultured infested comic book show. Breaking bread and breaking balls. All those Uber rides around town. The clinking of glasses at all the bars. Placing names and faces to collectors old and new. and of course, all the funny books. Until next year!
  7. I would suggest writing your given name and board name...unless you're Dylan, then I would suggest you use some other name
  8. Final bump See you studs at the show!!!!!!!
  9. welcome back and I would suggest holding out for a copy with a better wrap. Plenty of copies in this range.
  10. FF 49's grow on trees...i can't imagine there will be much demand for a conserved FF49 when lower grade copies are plentiful if your plan is to sell...Unless this is some childhood copy with sentimental value?. I would not conserve this copy and just get yourself a 1.0-2.0 universal copy
