I just pre-ordered a copy of Black Widow #1. This is my first Momoko variant, since they always seem to sell out too fast for me to get my hands on them.

That is unique...haven’t seen that before. I once saw a book that only had one staple. The other one wasn’t stapled in...as in no holes where the staple would have been. I might still have it somewhere. Lol. Thanks for sharing that one.

I have FINALLY been able to preorder a copy of this book!!! Every time a Momoko variant went up for sale, or preorder, I’m always too late. Lol. Well, that tear is obviously larger than 1/4" (not trying to be a jerk here), so that makes this one challenging. 4.0/5.0 if it's pressed...which may not be a good idea with the tear. IMO.

I don't think cleaning/pressing will help much here. I'm going to say a 7.5...IMO. Good luck!!!

Hey there!!! I consider myself fairly educated on comic grading, but I haven't reached out to fellow collector's before to see how I compare to that larger pool of knowledge. Pictures are tough to gauge without physically handling the book. My opinion (not an expert one) is 7.0 (FN/VF). If cleaned and pressed ONLY, maybe an 8.0 (VF). I wouldn't be surprised at all if I was way off. Lol. This is fun!!!

That’s a lot of comics to ‘come into’. Whether they were purchased, inherited, etc, I would LOVE to have that project cataloguing them. It took me months to get my 3000+ collection into an Excel database. 😂😂😂
