Spot on ... art wise alone , and as cool as Daredevil is as a character ...- I feel the cover is nowhere near as iconic as Avengers 1 so the choice is very simple ... Avengers ..there’s too much going on in the Daredevil cover ( for what’s its worth I believe ASM was one of the few to get away with that ) call it blasphemy - I’d rather have a Hulk 181 Than a DD1 but DD1 is absolutely on my hit list

Not the nicest guy on earth but one helluva legend ... he frequents the NYC/ north NJ shows as I believe he’s close so I’ve ran into him a bit The gross majority of guys I’ve met / interacted with have been super cool ...

That’s the best part about conventions for me.... the dialogue and filling gaps in runs - finding an under appreciated key is a nice addition

After removing wallpaper with a mix of chemicals and a heater in the early 2000’s on my old house , I will NEVER willingly buy , install or associate myself with it .... very painful to remove and it’s common to find multiple layers ( much like vinyl floor tile ) bunched on top of each other

Comic books were always an outlet for me - I used my allowance for them and eventually my grandmother and aunt caught on on started getting me monthly subscriptions ( those were the days ....) my mom always supported my habit - which is ironic as my wife prefers to guilt me ... can’t say I blame her to a degree , in here’s a lot of long boxes here In a nutshell thanks to my grandmother , aunt and mom for seeing comics as an outlet for a kid and helping him read

Really some fantastic period cover art in this run - it’s pretty crazy how much alot of the marvel art changed once the issues got into the 100 series ( x-men , spidey , daredevil , etc ) as cap , Thor and hulk all started in the 100’s . The early to mid 70’s issues are my faves !

I’ve gotta five Rebels another shot, I was so turned off in season 1 with the mandalorian girl with the spray painted helmet and the inquisitor guy ( vague , apologies ) - my son and I absolutely LOVED the clone wars and jumped right back into the continuation earlier this year ( I actually had to go back and watch the season prior to this which came out UN syndicated ) the first couple episodes when a beloved character is referenced has you jump right in

I’m with you 50% - I really enjoyed ROTS and is easily the best prequel in my opinion - Darth Maul was the best part of TPM for me and seeing multiple Jedi fight at once ( as well as Anakin’s descent , finally seeing the Clones and Jango / Fett ) was pretty cool to see IMO I’ve still only seen TLJ once and it was in two 1/2 sittings , I’ve yet to watch ROS yet but have seen SOLO and thought it was mediocre ....but loved the ending

Man.... I had such a crush on Reese back then , she aged incredibly well but now she does more talking than acting ( which tends to be the case for most Hollywoodians )

Just a side hit IMO - I remember the “ no rules “ 2 issue story and it was really awesome for a late run punisher comic which was basically towards the end of his 80-90’s mega popularity

Consider yourself lucky - not easy to get taken care of lately unless it’s COVID-19 related , glad you caught it in time - speedy recovery , rest up and enjoy the delicious hospital food
