Yeah ... there’s all types . I had someone on eBay once inform me he found another similar comic at a cheaper price and asked me to not only honor that but include another comic I was selling at the price he wanted ... mind you he was an eBay member for about 10 minutes . I purchase comics WAY more than I sell them and try not to be insulting when giving offers on what people are selling ... that’s really all anyone can ask for .

I’m not a fan of Overstreet as a source - I’ve said that before and feel by the time the latest guide issue is printed , the values have already changed- between movies , shows , new comic events and speculation - accurate market results generally don’t stem from a book - that’s gone the way of the dinosaur ... and baseball card

IMO-I think what a seller has as his “ wall books” is indicative of what kind of sale is going to happen - guys that tend to have just all star killer stuff are usually overpriced , guys that have $20 books marked up as “ keys” are generally overpriced . I try to do business with guys that love comics - they collect , they buy , the sell to offshoot some expenses and normally have other jobs . Going to conventions for me is more about potentially getting a book signed , filling gaps in my runs and having excellent conversation than for scoring a FF#1 which is way outta my price range anyway .

While I agree for he most part , I think she at times tried too hard - but understands her characters dynamic by the time endgame rolled around . IMO -Downey Jr, Hemsworth and Evans Commanded such a presence I can’t imagine another actor playing them , as great as Ruffalo and Cheadle were, we saw that these parts were expendable .

Hello all - I took this photo at a shop and I apologize in advance as I don’t have a photo of the back page, or one out of the plastic . That being said , it appears to me the top is uneven just by my eye in comparison with the white of the backer board . Would you agree it is trimmed or does this look more like Marvel wear ( not chipping ) thanks for the help -

I concur - I didn’t feel the menacing nature , it felt almost forced - almost like Count Dooku who is an excellent actor as well

If he’s scamming to drive up prices , perhaps the books have defects as well not depicted in the photos . I once bought a book on eBay at a steal of a price only to find out a large piece was removed from the backside of the book ... partially my fault I confess ... to channel my inner dad ...if it’s too good to be true , it usually is

I actually thought that Ray Stevenson was a very believable Frank Castle ( I also enjoyed the Dolph Lundgren one - perhaps in hindsight it’s just for sentimental value ) however, the plot for Stevenson’s War Zone was riddled with holes like a firing range target, with terrible CGI to boot . I’m more surprised if Dominic West who usually brings his A game - instead of sporting a horrendous NY “accent”
