No not really. thing is this has been speculated for some time. most of us knew about some type of collaboration with Rick and Donny months ago. predictions that Sentry would become the God of light were in articles on CBSI this has been on fans radar for some time. the “tweet” is what awoke those that don’t read of follow comics but only rush to whatever is hot at the moment with there FOMO so you may have just woke but that’s not the case for everyone. sales history on Sentry 1 vol 1 has been strong for some time and there was a reason

Fantastic four 19. All my copies even the lower 1.5 getting 150 fees and 5 watchers a day. Guess it’s one of those early yet still Affordable keys with lots of growth because of it being Kang.

It’s an old rumor regardless of article date and it’s fairly baseless as well. shame to drop such money on this common in high grade modern.

Thank you for both your answers as I recently picked up An Iron Man one with no bottom staple or holes yet all pages and centerfold are even... Looking but lost a bid on a ASM 129 that has an excess of purple distribution literally splashed all over back cover and bottom of front. Was framed in the ink not just a top or bottom line. Yet it still sold for over 600.00 Just would hate to send in a book that has no chance of blue.

This movie was butchered and anybody that thinks the bureaucracy at WB cared about the final product or the treatment of the actors is bat mess crazy. They just wanted there last big payoff before the acquisition. If you defend this...your part of the problem. Then again it’s a free country so to each there own.

Ok obviously we can’t find this in the wild (though I actually did in a shop in Tampa) though nothing is impossible. The fun about the wild is you really never know what you may run into. Its a Euro copy of Thor 1 Jane Foster Fiona Staples variant. Im hoping someone has some info on this... I was told at time of purchase that there were 0 on the census. Obviously this copy would count as it’s recently graded. It is a foil embossed card stock cover.

To answer that yes. They are significantly lower than the 1st print in price though they are pretty scarce. I seldom see them up for sale Id wait on those but that’s just me personally.

It ended with spiderverse 2 4th print that wasn’t such horrible advice actually as it was a 5-10 book at that time. If someone bought say 20 copies and decided to cash in now that would be a 900.00 return just on high grade raw books

Not at all...very well said. not to mention that this type of spec is adding steam to the hobby and keeping it vital. its the new age of spec collecting/investing that’s putting big fast money in our pockets to put it back into the market to buy tried and true keys.

Very well said. On the flip side...not everyone is or was even aware of all the sites you mention. Some of us actually have a knowledge of what people buy and what gets hot by paying attention to the trends over the years. 25 years in my case. I do not follow any of these sites that have been mentioned... But somehow I knew these later smaller print books with different color borders was eventually take off. not with a certainty but a strong feeling. ever since the purple border Thor 1 Jane foster came out. Nobody wanted them but I bought up all I could find for 10 bucks or so a pop how did I know? I think there’s more to it then simply “pumpers” Now not saying nobody is pumping. Why not?? They bought into an idea and saw a trend...now there cashing in. don’t be salty

No nobody hopes anything. Its pretty simple...you buy the later prints as a speculation and hit or miss. A 3rd print with a lesser print run doesn’t make a 1st or 2nd worthless. I think people are just trying to put to much thought into this. you buy what you like...you buy what you spec...you follow the trends...you make some money...you buy some keys Its not rocket science

It may have though I’m not aware of anything as I do not follow key collector. seems to me they were spot on as collectors as myself have found nterest in these printings before they featured and/or without any knowledge of Key Collector. Honestly this is the only comic site that I follow, read, and contribute. with that said it’s obvious this key collector just goes by the trends that already are so if you had found out by key collector than you may be a bit late im not saying you personally just people in general
