Fantastic Four 50 CGC 5.5 off-white to white pages.  Silver Surfer vs Galactus and 1st major Silver Surfer cover.

$1250 for both books shipped Priority mail with signed for delivery. I've sold a number of big books on these boards with no issues and I'm "gullofd22" on ebay with 100 percent positive feedback on over 1,600 transactions. 4. I'm thinking a 6.0-6.5

I really wish that Marvel had not put that stupid tatoo pack in this book as it led to a lot of unnecessary damage like on your copy. I used to have a ASM 238 CGC 7.0 Qualified due to the missing tatoos and a small ripped chunk by the top staple. Now I own a ASM 238 CGC 9.2 Qualified because a previous owner actually took the time to remove the tatoos carefully .

I never knew the Heap was an ongoing series until after I joined the boards. My introduction was a story in a MAD paperback with the reprints that I picked up regularly as a kid so I always thought the character was a one-shot spoof. Those look great btw

My dad told me about the Heap when I was a kid so he must have seen these comics at the candy store he visited as a kid as he also collected comics but in the early 1950s. I never saw any issues until about six years ago when I really started to research the covers to try and collect them - there are not that many copies around!

Who Goes There by John W. Campbell, Jr.   Dell Book D150   1st US PB  1955    $40

An increasingly tough pb. Richard Powers cover art. 1st US pb appearance of Campbell's most collected story, that was made into the classic early Sci-Fi movie "The Thing From Another World"

Fine Plus - nice un-creased copy with high gloss.  Has some spine slant but pages are tight and supple and very bright and white.

  7. Hi everyone,

As my board name implies, I am a huge Peter Cushing fan, having written a biography on him and running a fan club. This past Sunday there was a major auction of personal items once belonging to Peter Cushing and I managed to win one of his original watercolor paintings (he tutored under English artist Edward Seago). Anyway, as the painting cost me a good amount and now I have to have it packaged and shipped across the pond to me in NY, I'm offering up the following two books.

Original 1966 Dr. Who and the Daleks comic book movie adaptation by Dell Comics (1st U.S. of Dr Who in comics). The book is in good condition with plenty of wear and a spine split as shown in the photos, but it is complete, and all pages are attached.  The real value here is that the book was signed by Peter Cushing on the front cover (I've compared it to my many Cushing autographs and it matches up so the real deal). $100 shipped in the U.S.

Wanted #35 (1951). A Seduction of the Innocent book with a great firemen cover. Wear on the spine and a little pencil writing on the back but the cover colors are nice and vibrant and th interior page quality is off-white.  A raw VG copy sold at the end of August on ebay for $100 and I peg my copy in Fine condition so I'll do the same price shipped at $100.
