Yup. One is deception, once rampant pre 3rd party grading (and despicable deception at that…. for the most part it was adult dealers ripping off kids…. How low can you get?). The other is innocent.

Spoke to a rep who told me VALUE books received at CCS on 6/21/21 moved into CCS In Process yesterday. Who knows at this point.

I have a novel theory of just what causes CGC Forum toxicity: 1) Log onto CGC daily to check status of submissions; 2) Receive your dose of daily disappointment; 3) Check "Current Turnaround time" thread; 4) Receive another dose of daily disappointment; 5) Read about submissions that received super fast turnaround time for no viable reason; 6) Yet another dose of daily disappointment; 7) Check "Quality Control" thread; 8) You guessed it. Yet another dose of daily disappointment now coupled with anxiety; 9) Consider abandoning the hobby altogether; 10) RAGE.

All I could say is I loved it, I’m looking forward to rewatching it on HBOMAX, I’m looking forward to a sequel, and I am ecstatic to see what Reeves does with the Arkham TV show.

I am trying to put this into perspective. I just can't wrap my head around this. Not sure why it is bothering me as much as it does. Does a chip of paint from a Picasso or a chip of wood from a Stradivarius have any value? My answer is a clear NO. Its just a chip of paint or wood. Once "value" is assigned to the scraps, its as if the original collectible is divine or has magical powers. Am I overthinking this?

I keep coming back to this thread hoping for a miracle. My books at CCS (including VALUE tier books) have passed the 8 month mark so I wait in limbo. I can't even track them. Thats just too much. Doesn't seem like CGC will priotize the oldest submissions any time soon let alone VALUE submissions. Honestly, I would rather just have my books back at this point.

So does the Rock, which makes me think we will.

What kills me is that for years I thought there was HUGE amount of Punisher fans. Man i feel dumb.
