  1. The thing about evidence is that, when it actually exists, it can be produced.
  2. To be fair, they often say they're talking about distribution rather than print run numbers. Of course, they then say that since Newsstands were returnable, we need to drop those (already inaccurate) numbers even more, as if distribution isn't already print runs minus returns. Plus, they rarely, if ever, acknowledge the endemic fraud in the newsstand system that means some "returns" still exist.
  3. Nobody has marketplace numbers. feeBay is not the market and it is certainly not the world. GPA is a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of historical comic book sales.
  4. The contents of multiple websites that are regularly brought up here and which have unfortunately spread far and wide. Ludicrous nonsense repeated ad nauseum as fact. The same stuff I correct at every opportunity... and there have been many opportunities.
  5. Yeah, that happens. It's not all that common, but sometimes covers don't get attached properly during the normal production process. Interesting. There usually isn't. I have no idea what it is. My copy has nothing. If there's foreign material in the book, that could affect the grade.
  6. Obviously because it's now directly affecting CGC rather than just random nobodies.
  7. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115624
  8. Whenever I get a notification, if there's a popup, it's always (usually?) for the same old PM, but going to the Notifications bell at the top of the page shows the actual notification.
  9. Maybe the rumors are true and Roy really did have Stan's removed after his death so he could continue putting it in his mouth.
  10. That's misleading, at best. Some copies of issues other than ASM 238 and FF 252 that were produced at the same time have the insert. They don't have advertising on the cover stating such because they were never meant to have it.
  11. If only DC would end their decades-long stubborn refusal to reprint those issues, and particularly the Superman and Batman stories. It's also unfortunate that, despite all the technology we have, nobody has found a way to digitize old comic books.
  12. Sure, partially. But McFarlane wasn't ruining everything else Marvel did.
  13. Another similar character, Multi-Man, died dozens of times just in Joker: Last Laugh.
  14. The fact that it took over a decade for Marvel to finally continue that run that started 33 years ago.
  15. You know Marvel owns Miracleman now and have up everything they've done with the property so far, right?
  16. But it's not and never was. Outside of Spider-Man (ASM), I don't think any multi-series character really has a main collecting title.
  17. Why would you want to fix it? Who else has a slab with Superman picking up a car by its Newton rings?
  18. You can't correct miswraps, but you can fix minor spine rolls like the book in this thread has suffered.
  19. There is no such thing as a "warehouse find" of TMNT The Last Ronin. Somebody could have a lot of copies, but that's not a warehouse find.
  20. So you're saying that the centerfold wrap is detached at the top staple, right? How much effect that will have depends on the condition of the rest of the book.
