  1. Thanks for pointing out the missing corner. I was so focused on getting a good scan, I missed the missing corner. Ha. Many of these comics I am submitting to PGM haven't seen the light of day since the 60s. Unfortunately most were well read, placed in the back pocket of jeans and taken to friend's houses. Thanks for the grade.
  2. Looks great! Thanks for the photo and I'll check them out.
  3. So I am new to and learning these acronyms. How'd I do? TLFC = Top Left Front Cover? BCBC = Back Cover Bottom Center?
  4. Thank you for grading. As you can probaly tell, I am new at this so please bear with me. What is a "top loader" and where does one purchase one? From CGC? Sounds like a interesting option. Thanks!
  5. Thank you for your comments and grade. I am really new at this so please bear with me. Regarding your comment about CGC adding a note to the label, is this something they would normally do if requested? And what makes a comic a pedigree? is it age of comic, length of ownership of comic or something else? I have a few other comics from my brother's collection from the 1950s. I am wondering if they also would be considered pedigree. Thanks!
  6. Thanks. I was thinking the same. He also has Our Army at War #86, but he drew a blue mustache on the tank commander, and added some blue color to the bullet debris. Why? I have no idea. Ha!
  7. Thanks for pointing that out. Here's a scan i just made. The book is fragile, but it looks like the staples are attached. Thanks!
  8. Last of three submissions for today. Never was a reader of Wonder Woman until I got to be about 12 years old. Thanks in advance for your comments and grades.
  9. Probably my favorite comic subject as a kid were the war comics. ACG, Charlton, DC, Dell, etc. Heavy influenced by my older brother Chris, he had a slew of DC war comics that over the years have been lost to the ages, with the exception of this one and a few others. I may submit this one to CGC simply because of its memory of my late brother. Thanks in advance for your comments and grades.
  10. One of my favorite comics when i was a kid, so it is well worn. Rod Taylor was great in the movie. And the Morlocks were down right frightening. As always, appreciate your comments and grades. Thanks in advance!
  11. Checked the comic and no signs of detachment. Thanks for the heads up and your grade.
  12. Thanks for taking the time to review and your grade!
  13. Third and final posting of the night. Thank you for taking the time to evaluate and comment!
  14. I posted the incorrect title for this comic. Sorry!
  15. Hi, Second of three postings for today. As always appreciate your grades, comments and thoughts!
  16. Hi, First of three postings for today. Focus is on DC, the majority of my comics. I purchased nearly all of my comics off a rotating rack in the back of a Woolworth's 5&10 in a suburb of Boston. Unfortuantely they didn't carry many Marvel titles. I'm thinking that in the 60's, maybe retail distribution of DC and Marvel was based on a geographic subscription rate. Or maybe Woolworth couldn't afford a second rack. As always appreciate your grades, comments and thoughts!
  17. Thank you for taking your time to evaluate and provide comments. This issue was well read in its day and it shows in it's appearance. I was a huge ST fan when the show first came out in 1966. So this comic is important to me. I'm hoping that the stain isn't glue. And I was pretty careful separating comic reading from model building activities. But if it is, it is what it is. Thanks again! Jp
