It appears all the black flag variants on census were graded in July...

It's 100% the grade.. What's the point of being a certification company that has almost undeniable optics of having said certification up for sale? There's no value for the end user seeking to purchase a legitimate product that has been certified to be of a particular standard if those standards can be bought. I e. It seems we now you have to go and DYOR to make sure you haven't got a bootleg graded as a legit comic. Given that there is not one other 9.9 or 10 of this issue, these all magically appeared from those unsold ones at the bottom of the pile, still attained prefect score after being butchered with additional staples it's hard to understand where the value lies for customer choosing to slab their book beyond paying for a pretty blue label.

Regardless those same bootlegs are right now taking real estate in the CGC census with impossible grades for all to see

They've just devalued every book ever graded by them in my eyes. And I'm quietly confident I'm not alone in that sentiment. No apology or recification undoes the optics of this one or how it has even occurred in the first place.

Compared to say delotto 667 that still has only 48 slabs for 500 books , 428 for 600 is out of this world Would think it is much, much higher total books for 797 mayhew

600 per retailer 5 retailers is 3k copies .. which would seem about right. Who sold it .? .Sadlemon, unknown, amorphous were the ones I remembered.

Came back to this one out of curiosity .. according to the census there are 428 that are now graded. I saw that on ebay too. Ive read Todd Mcfarlane doesn't sign the thanks edition so seems they may have authenticated a sig that was printed into every book . That said , if there is a legit signature inside.. I want that book .(though 9.4 is bad grade for a thx .)

What's the deal with the immortal hulk 20 with the red splotches all over the dress .. my lcs gave me that alongside the standard one saying they werent expecting the two different ones and not sure which one I would want

Pick up the most recent issue (19) and read it Then come back tell me immortal hulk isn't all its hyped to be plus more . Amazing how it seems to get better and better every issue ..

Nah I meant the 300 , 301 the homage are b covers I do love the 22x run of homage covers though

The cover swipes are b covers ... I personally don't mind them but looking forward to seeing what Todd's a cover will be .. that said I wish 298 , 299 had alternative art covers than just the swipes .. asm 298 , 299 were far from best of todds work 300 cover will be subtly different to 227 in that on 300 spawn is in his original costume.

I preordered an asm 796-800 set in February last year . 800 released in may. Set arrived in November , after a lot of spamming their pm on Facebook. The books arrived in good condition but the company is almost impossible to contact.
