That's the point that's sailing over the head of all the journos covering the rage around this reveal.. The fact the wedding was cancelled isn't the issue.. Rather The that DC allowed the hype train to build and continue to build with excess of 100 variants being made (and presold well over cover price) for a troll ' haha, wedding on another 50 issues guys and gals' ... I didn't jump on the train at all - weddings are not what I want to read on my comics and also most aren't any good to resell. But can fully appreciate the rage

Hasn't there always be new characters, all the time... Only a few of them really stick Some of them are hilariously trapped in the time they were created... Not so many timeless creations out there

Its not a hot value ( price wise) at the moment at all is it? But its a great read..

The colour in issue 3 blew me away... I don't usually sit up and notice the colouring but each spread was eye popping

Disagree.. The show had huge impact on values and exposure Furthermore, yes walking dead is a great story.. But that's it.. Its not an original IP, just an original take on a zombie apocalypse with characters we cared about but I don't think many will feel pangs of nostalgia for like a superman or wolverine when they disappeared from public view for a while. WD #1 will remain significant for being a major part of this era and the cultural influence it had which will give it good sought after value, but I doubt it will ever be a true long term high demand highly priced grail like a hulk 181 etc.

How can he not make another appearance? These were huge issues. I reckon he will make it into other media also. Theres obviously a story to tell about Norman Osborne in his current condition first though . Obviously more goblin childe to come too.. That could be genuinely creepy if treated right.

fair point... ill give you that .. 795 is first appearance osborne as carnage.. IMO keys that i figured are must haves are 795, 796 CX variant, 798,799,800 .. thats a lot of books from one story arc

my take on first appearences, key issues in red alert/go down swinging arcs etc.. in spoilers for those yet to read.. ( come on already ! its great ! )

Point being, that beyond the initial hype, everyone will come to realise its another forgettable, lame wedding book that none here really needed (nor wanted) to read.. So I personally can't understand why need all the variants. They will all be worth as much as a roll of toilet paper in a few years as none ever thinks "I must have the wedding issue in my collection"

Variants or no variants. Find me a wedding issue from any super hero comic in the past that has a) decent monetary value today or b) was an enjoyable read and you go back to re read because it was great. **crickets **

How can a new book be a 7.0? Ouch That squiggly line in the bottom corner is not just on the Jim Lee tour.. I've seen it on a number of the action 1000 covers..

Season 8 was awful.. If the book was written the way season 8 was filmed It would amount to each page in the comic book being a full spread headshot of a character discussing the situation or simply staring into the distance with only one or two pages with a few panels with characters actually doing anything. It's no wonder interest has dropped, the writers gave up

Action #1000 was a boring read, cover to cover.. If the new villain is going to be something long term , has to be a lot more compelling than what was in the last few pages of this book.

It was a 1:25 and orders report on comichron shows it wasn't that large which would suggest there aren't many around. I found a decent copy in a store but personally wasn't interested in it as he was selling for high price
