  1. A really cool book that is referred to as scarce by Overstreet. Amazing Detective Cases 13, CGC 8.0 OW, River City copy. The "Honeymoon of Horror" story is a winner.
  2. I love this copy. The nicest 8.0 that I own. Weird Tales of the Future 1, CGC 8.0 C/OW. The partial Wolverton cover that is always noted refers to the title heading that he designed....not the actual artwork.
  3. Classic "Eye in the Sky" cover....made famous by the Alan Parsons Project. ok...I'll stop the world and melt with you then. No? I jest. Astonishing 30 that came back as a CGC 8.0 OW
  4. Thanks Adam. I think my favorite part of this cover are the demon skulls swirling in the background....plus yellow is one of my best colors.
  5. Thanks for the kinds remarks. Here are a few more. On the Spot, CGC 8.5 OW. Crippen "D" copy. Cool Pretty Boy Floyd photo cover.
  6. Strange Fantasy 2, CGC 8.0 C/OW. Northford copy. Looks like a 9.0, but some interior tanning dropped the grade. The classic "hypo, meathook" cover. These books are a lot of fun.
  7. True Crime Comics 2, CGC 4.5 C/OW. Notorius for all for all of the right reasons. Jack Cole at his finest in my opinion.
  8. Horrific 8, First appearance of The Teller....who...um....told stories? I consider this cover by Heck to be one of his best. I know he catches a lot of grief, but I love his pre-code horror work.
  9. Since we are talking pre-codes, it doesn't get much more pre-code than this. Racket Squad in Action 12, CGC 9.0 OW/W. Considered a classic Ditko cover, and I feel for good reason. Horrific in the message that it conveys.
  10. Strange Suspense Stories 3, CGC 8.0 C/OW. George Evans is one of my all time favorite artists/creators, but even I have to admit that this cover seems a little hokey. It does convey the spirit of a really good, "really bad" grade B film that populated the movie theaters of the 1950's though.
  11. Wow. Talk about a needle in a haystack. Beautiful.
  12. Suspense 14 CGC 7.0 OW/W. Palo Alto ped copy. Great Russ Heath cover, with the notorious hypodermic.
  13. This Magazine is Haunted 17, CGC 7.5 OW. Ditko "Elmo from Hell" cover. Couple of stories by the man too. This copy came from the Edenwald Collection.
  14. Weird Tales of the Future 2, CGC 7.0 OW. Classic Wolverton, nuff said.
  15. Weird Mysteries 2, CGC 7.5 OW. Classic Baily cover along with the great Wolverton "Robot Woman". A truly incredible 7.5 that looks much, much nicer.
  16. Sure, buddy. Go ahead and try it. The mods will be on you like....Oh nuts. They won't care. Post away I'd love to see them. Thanks. I look at this as kind of a last hurrah, as a lot of my books might be moving on to help towards a new home....but I look at that as a natural progression as it will benefit my family. Nothing wrong with that. A nice copy of a classic Harvey.
  17. The best thread on the boards. Everything I have has been posted in the past....but I sure would love to post them again.
  18. I believe this one is for my benefit....... Posting this book is grounds for abuse in my eyes.
  19. Congrats Karl, I have never met a copy of CSS 22 that I didn't like.
  20. Billy, it has raised my opinion of you from a ne'er do well to a scalawag.
  21. Does anyone know what happened to Keith? I checked his user and see where it has been 2 years since he last posted. I always liked him and thought he was a great guy to converse with. Any ideas on where he may be?
  22. Thread bump time.....no way that this thread should be hidden..
  23. One of my favorite books. I still regret passing on the Bethlehem copy. Congrats on yours. (thumbs u
  24. That is an excellent looking 3.0. I wonder what brought it down?
