I just saw this post and the scary thing is I read this cover story today!!! Spooky! Super sweet pre-hero book Angelo!! Scott

Ditko pre-code Angelo That is a great looking book with its Spell, Book, & Candle cover! But if I had to critique it at all I think that Ditko should have left out the chubby cheeks with the freckles on that one demon. Kinda makes him less menacing IMO. What you don't understand is that chubby cheeks & freckles scared the out of Ditko Angelo This is true....Ditko was also terrified of Howdy Doody....a little known fact about the man. Scott

I have always liked that Colan Avengers cover on 116....and the QP on your 117 is beautiful. Congrats on some REALLY nice books. I would be more than proud of those. Very nice! Scott

I also wanted to thank you for the info you gave to Jay about the "neon" inks that Fawcett was using on some of their later PC books. Jay and I had been discussing that very topic not a week before.
