  1. Last price reduction everyone. 80.00 for 4 signed Rockets, not going any lower. Thanks for looking.
  2. It has been a long time since I have been in depth with market pricing on books such as this. If you want to make me a reasonable offer by private message, please do so. No harm, no foul. Scott
  3. Lastly, it is Four Color 1166, Rocky And His Friends. This book is beautiful, but has a production paper crease that runs horizontally across Bullwinkle's nose, otherwise it is a 9.4 book. I am going to call it a 9.2 to be safe. In my old OPG, this book is valued at 365 in 9.2. I want to be realistic and move the book as it deserves to be loved. I am willing to go to 200 in order to give it a new home. Buyer pays priority shipping, and once again Paypal is preferred. If someone wants the two books I will take 300.00 Thanks, Scott PRICE REDUCED TO 145. 220 less than my 15-16 OPG price.
  4. Next up is Four Color 1134, The Real McCoys with a great Walter Brennan black cover. Interior art is by the great Alex Toth. This is an all day 9.4 with just a hint of spine stress. It is beautiful. OPG on this book from 15-16 was 140 in 9.2. I will cut a deal on this Toth book for 125.00. Buyer pays for priority shipping, once again Paypal is preferred. REDUCED TO 90.00... less than half a 9.4 in OPG
  5. Hello again, have 3 books this time. All are beautiful and File Copies with ow/w pages. First up is Four Color 473, Lil Bad Wolf. Stunning yellow cover, and is an all day 9.6. The three Rocky and Bullwinkle books that I bought from the same person as this one, on the same day, all came back from CGC as 9.6's and were all the highest graded. I sold them last year or so in one of ComicConnect's event auctions. I am confident it will grade. The latest Overstreet I own is from '15-16, and this book was 75 in 9.2. I feel that my asking price of 100 is very fair. Buyer pays priority shipping. Paypal is preferred, but will take a check or money order. THIS BOOK IS SOLD! ?
  6. Hi everyone. Trying to post some books that I need to move for personal reasons. I just sold a Who Is Next 5 in the Gold/Silver/Bronze forum tonight, so please check it out if you need more info about me. I am offering a set of the Rocket Raccoon 1985 mini series, issues 1-4, each book signed by Mike Mignola on the first page. Met Mike at a show about 30 years ago, and he was gracious enough to sign these for me. No scans as my scanner no longer works, but I stand behind my grading and can supply references if you need them. Photos uploaded from my Galaxy are below. 1 is a 9.2, 2 is a 9.4, 3 is a 9.2, 4 is a 9.2, all signed on the first page. I am asking 225.00 for the set. Shipping will be by Priority Mail, so add 10 bucks. Payment by Paypal preferred, but will take a check or money order. Thanks for looking. Scott
  7. It is yours. I appreciate it. I thought my price was reasonable, now I sure it was. ? I will message you my Paypal info later. Thanks again. Scott
  8. Hello everyone. It has once again been a long time since I have been on the boards. I have been a registered member for over 13 years, and have sold tens of thousands of dollars of books to members on and off the boards. I used to own some of the nicest pre-codes in the hobby, and a lot of them may now be in your permanent collection. If you need references for me as a seller, all you have to do is ask. I am in the process of selling all of the books that I have remaining. Life, pet medical expenses, ect have made it necessary to do so. It may take a while, but I need to get some things going as of now. The first book I am offering is a classic. Who Is Next #5 from Standard Comics, circa January of 1953. It contains the classic Alex Toth story, "The Crushed Gardenia", which is my favorite Toth story. I purchased this copy raw off of ebay about 12 years ago or so. This book does not come up for sale often. I have graded it as a 3.5, maybe 4.0, with exceptional cover gloss. There a couple of tears on the back cover top staple, but both staples are secure. There is some corner loss on the top left back cover. Pages are off white. The book presents exceptionally well for the grade. I have a friend who is a board member, and one of the biggest dealers in the southeast, who wants to buy the book. However, he suggested that I try it on here first as he thinks I could get more along the lines of what it is truly worth. If it does not sell, it will go to him. So, here is your chance. If this is a pre-code book you have always wanted, be the first one to say you want it. My price is 475.00, and I will cover shipping in the lower 48. Paypal is preferred, but I will accept a check or money order as well. I have an old scan from a scanner that no longer works, and I have three photos from my phone. Please let me know if you have any questions. It has been a while since I have sold, so if I have missed anything, just tell me and I will edit my listing. Thanks a lot, Scott
  9. Hi everyone, another book today. True Crime Comics #6 CGC 9.0 C/OW, Canadian Version, Highest Graded the last time I checked. 200.00 shipped to the lower 48. Paypal preferred, but will take a check or money order if push comes to shove. Thanks for looking! ? Scott
  10. Don't be afraid to make a reasonable offer if you are interested.
  11. Hi everyone. It has been forever since I have been on the boards, and many of you will not know me. I have sold tens of thousands of dollars of books on the boards and to members with deals not publicly seen. My collection is to the point where it is about depleted, and the books I will be offering are what remain. The funds that I raise will help with the home we are in the process of buying here in the Denver area. If you need references, I have dealt with some of the biggest players in the hobby, so just ask. With that said, here is my first book: JOAN OF ARC, A-1 Comics #21, in CGC 9.0 with off white/white pages. Classic Ingrid Bergman cover, back cover, and frontispiece. My most recent OPG is 2015-2016 puts the value at 278.00. My price is 210.00 shipped to the lower 48. Paypal is preferred, but checks and money orders work as well. Thanks for looking. Scott
  12. Too bad the Voodoo is entombed! There is a really nasty story in that book. Great looking copy! Corpses of the Jury is the story I think you mean. Nazis and more human skin being used in horrific ways. What's up Scott! Hey Jay.....decided to drop in and check out the horror funny books.

  14. Thank you Randall for the instant payment, and for the kind words you left for me. Randall is a great buyer to have on the boards. Respectful, friendly, and follows through. Thanks again sir. Scott
  15. One of the best creators I have ever met, who is now a friend as well, is John K. Snyder III. John is truly a great guy.
  16. I have read a few things about Frank Cho in this thread, and my interaction with Frank was positive. We had a mini forum dinner after a show in Arlington several years ago, and one of the guys attending, Jeff (Stronguy), asked Frank to have dinner with us. Frank was kind of quiet, but was polite, and it was cool getting to chat with him. I guess we all have bad days, but Frank was just one of the guys that evening.
