  1. It's a 1:25 on a ~50,000 print run so they're out there. "1:25" refers to distribution numbers, not print run numbers, and has no connection to the print run of the regular book. The book was distributed to retailers on the order of 1 for every 25 copies of the regular cover they ordered. The print run of ratio variants has little to nothing to do with the print run of the regular editions.
  2. This is actualy true. He is funny, talented, good looking. Reminds me of myself. In a funhouse mirror sort of way...?
  3. I don't have time to analyze this, but there wasn't a crash in 1993. 1993 was the height. The crash came a little later.
  4. DC Presents #26 (the insert, that is, not the main story) is probably the first real glimmer of the Copper Age. Fantasy Quarterly #1, a 1978 book, is solidly Bronze. But there are lots of "Bronze-ish" books being published, well into the 80's...Miller's Daredevil, for example, is cited as being "Copper" by many...but it's not. It's more the culmination of the Bronze age shift towards realism. Ronin, though? Absolutely Copper. Likewise, Dark Phoenix is the pinnacle of the Bronze Age form of storytelling. while Days of Future Past is most certainly Copper...in the same title, by the same creators. We've had these discussions many, many times on the boards, and will probably have them forever. There's no clear delineation for any "age", except for Action Comics #1. Everything else is qualified.
  5. That's not how relisting works....If you accidentally click relist, it takes you to another screen where you can choose to edit the listing or not, before confirming and relisting. Can you post a link to what shows how long the listing was up for? I am curious to see that Maybe it was an accident? I let my 3 year old daughter play with my iphone and she randomly calls people, likes pictures on fb, etc. So THAT was where that call came from...
  6. I am so very, very thankful that there were no cameras around to record my teenage idiocy for all time. Not that I would have done anything like this, but still....all teenagers do idiotic things.... So very thankful.
  7. +5 Points Is that your copy...? No...just stole the image. I should have added " " to that post. Too dry, they always say... (cue anyone.)
  8. Oh, and....people who take issue with people being called noobs...ARE noobs. Like I said, it's a state of mind.
  9. "Noob" is a state of mind, a presence, a je ne sais quoi. Some people aren't noobs 5 minutes after they join. Beau was one of those guys. I miss Beau. Stu's one of those guys, too. Some people are noobs, even if they joined the first day the place opened. Like Cal. I love Cal, but he'll always be a noob wherever he goes.
  10. So let me get this straight, you are nominating someone for a block list in regards to a transaction that you have had nothing to do with. Yup because the behavior is objectively foul. Buying a CGC sealed book and than asking for a return is obnoxious and deserves to be a basis for a block. I would want this block if I was another seller Moreover, if you and Kav want to defend buyers thats your choice. I am defending sellers. It's nice to have a cause. In the meantime have a snickers. Oh, and what might your eBay ID please? I would like to block you since my cousin's coworker's neighbor's sister has a friend who claims that they had a problem with you. So this thread of blocked user id's is only for user id's that have had full jury trials??? Lay off the sanctimony. Some people can look at uncontestable facts and make rational determinations of objectively unreasonable behavior. You guys need to pick better vermin filth to defend [obnoxious buyers & ebay]. Maybe become criminal lawyers or something if you are so predisposed to defending obvious dip wads and scallywags. Oh...you'll fit in just fine around here...

Kav is not the seller. Kav is just a run of the mill apologist for dysfunctional systems. 9 days a member, and already analyzing the place...
  12. Pile ons are this board's raison d'être, it's joie de vivre, its reason for life, the very air that it breathes.
  13. RMA called. He wants his graemlin back RMA sighting!
  14. Who knows what sort of STD-ridden spam I would get from a dating site....
  15. This thread. It delivers. PS. I wanted to look up CAK's ok cupid profile, but it said I had to register to be a member to do so. No thanks.
