  1. I thought that was pretty clever. Julie Stevens.* *(maynotactuallyexist)
  2. Thinking about it makes me a little angry. I wonder if they'd be willing to do a retraction on air, and ask the girl to bring it back for a real first print... Doubt it.
  3. Walt Flanagan...I've dealt with that guy before... Couple of notes on that episode: That DKR #1 is NOT a first print. It is a second or third. How can I possibly know that? Because there's a hinge "crease" in the book. The first prints are solid, from the joint (where the spine meets the cover) out, with no hinge crease. The seconds and thirds all had hinge creases, and so does the book in the video, unless I'm blind. Also...$60 for a first print set, unless they're trashed, is a very cheap price these days.
  4. I've received one. Yes...even board members.
  5. No. Welcome to the troll club brother. Least you two have something in common I'm sorry, have I done something to offend you in some way?
  6. There is a reason he is on the ignore list of a lot of people. Just to be sure, Darrell's referring to Magnus, not me... ...right?
  7. You're the one who made the claim, first that there were only around 30 copies, then upping it to around 100, of the Sandman #8 variant still extant. Based on what...? The census numbers. You can't have it both ways.
  8. I do have the form to join the club. Does each new member still get stale hockey card bubble gum? I went to a baseball card show once back in the early 90s and bought a bunch of unopened Topps 1985 wax packs. I cracked them open but didn't try the gum, although I was tempted. Hell, I'd try that gum NOW.
  9. You have been a troublemaker on this board since you joined, going after people who have done you no harm, and the fact that you apparently throw around money has earned you status you don't deserve. When are you going to cut it out?
  10. Well.... ...if that community is Salem, circa 1692, I'd say it's fairly accurate.... I just think it's funny that we've got a cop who is people over repeatedly, and a devious buyer who'll do anything to get the book he wants...and the words bullying and community come up in essentially the same sentence. To the head. You're my new favourite boardie. Just sayin' Playing the victim - check Guilt trip - check Damn it. I'm never ANYONE'S favo(u)rite board member. Wait, that's the way I like it. Nevermind. Carry on. Cmon Rock...you know you're tops of the pops in Jimmersland... For whatever that's worth.. PS Penny says ruff!

  13. Remember... Saying things that are critical of other people is "bullying." Saying true things that people don't like is "bullying." Challenging someone's poor behavior is "bullying." Thus watering down the meaning of the word "bullying", and making a mockery of people who are *actually* being bullied. There aren't enough facepalms in the world to give to people who abuse the word "bullying." I do wonder about meeting you. I don't think you have a chance of meeting my expectations. No worries...I've consistently underwhelmed people for 20+ years.

  15. "I'm just a guy, I'm just a regular day every guy." Did that guy lose part of his tongue...?

  17. So, explain "amplifier" to me. I'm technologically illiterate.
