That was after the summer of keto and biking in 2020, I got fat again that winter. You think I'm going to post pictures of me at 300+ pounds in mid heart attack? You're out of your mind! Only the good ones with the hot wife. The ones where I look like I ate a small village are not going on the interwebs.

I think with Dave Stevens, sadly by virtue of dying young, there's also a limited output issue. By which I mean that it's realistic to actually collect all his covers. And that's appealing to many people.

In my mind, it's more like whether Stevens will command premiums the way that, say, Matt Baker does.

Oh man...well, whomever has them if they try to sell it should be obvious - and if they try to resubmit to CGC, I would think that would be apparent too?
I hope so. As you know, it represents a loss of 5 figures. The box went into Customs at LAX...and then disappeared.

From the books I've had graded in the past two years, CGC definitely seems to be in one of their tighter grading periods. I hate that they've had such variance over the years. If I had the money to burn, I'd have a set of 100 books regraded each year to appraise the consistency/inconsistency of grading. Would they nail it every time? Would it be a hot mess? We'll never know because there's no audit of how they grade books.

This was my first thought, as well. But I can't figure out how only 1 of the 25 was damaged?
