  1. With the last coupon a few weeks ago, I used it on two BIN items and an Auction I had just won. Just make sure that for the BIN items you use "Add to Cart", and pay for everything in one transaction. You can apply the code before the final payment button to see what you will pay.
  2. Also a thank you to you, aszumilo. My prize actually arrived last Thursday!
  3. I'll repost mine from a few weeks ago. Since I always like to have an outline of what happens, I tried to mark every status (even stuff not happening in the CGC 'system'). If you look back through some other posts, it seems some will go from Graded to Grading/QC to Shipped/Safe within a day. For me it took about a week. As far as knowing when it shows up in a particular status, I think you have to keep checking the site (or be like me and refresh at least 10 times a day). 4 Books, Modern Fast Track (items with a "-" are a status that shows up on the My Submissions section of the site) Mailed (from Texas) : 6/02/2018 Delivered (Florida) : 6/04/2018 -Verified : 6/06/2018 *invoice shows up on My Submissions Credit Card Charged : 6/07/2018 -Scheduled for Grading : 6/12/2018 -Graded : 6/13/2018 -Grading/Quality Control: 6/14/2018 -Shipped/Safe : 6/19/2018 *grades show up on My Submissions Delivered (Texas) : 6/25/2018
  4. Wow, those are fantastic! Although this is probably a good problem to have, just be prepared that grading some of these may cost several thousand dollars. For walkthrough service, the cost per book is: 3% FMV ($150 Min, $5,000 Max). I guess a question for anyone else...so it looks like the max "declared" value book you can have graded via shipping is $3000? Anything over would require a walkthrough? I haven't come close to having that problem yet...
  5. I actually have this book (unsigned) in a 9.0. I'll sell it to anyone for a "bargain" of $500
  6. 1 each (raw), please. Can you just add to my existing order?
  7. Yes, that grading contest was great! Just to clarify, when the shop sent it in, did they use your own CGC membership? I've only used the LCS once (and I was happy with how they did it -shipped out the next day, good packing, etc), but since it was through the LCS account, any statuses will only show up under their account. I had to call them to check the "My Submissions" for status updates. Once it is delivered to CGC, it can take a few days to show up as 'Verified' on the system (not sure about it taking weeks, though).
  8. Thanks, America's hat! Was just about ready to go light some firecrackers, and a storm decided to roll in...may have to celebrate tomorrow (we need this rain!)
  9. I'm liking this book so far (only on issue 3) https://www.cbr.com/rampage-brad-peyton-directing-skyward-movie/
  10. Wow! What an entrance into this 'world'
  11. Thanks! Yep, it really got me into collecting back then (although a few years later, I took a few decades off ). Now to save up for that ASM 129...
  12. Another one I received back from CGC today. It isn't high grade, but I do remember buying this issue new as a 12-13 year old back in the 80s. This was the first comic book 'series' I ever collected. I took it out of it's yellowing bag (with no backing board!), sent it in for pressing (thanks, Joey!), and had it graded...even though the corners are a bit beat up.
  13. Just received from CGC last week, but I love this cover (being a Spurs fan and all). It was probably posted before, but you could have won that car in the cover through a raffle. https://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/spurs/article/Tim-Duncan-raised-60-000-to-help-abused-children-6727871.php I had also posted on the "this week back from CGC" thread.
  14. I looked in the CLZ app, they show over 140 variants. Many are the "Daily Bugle" variants, where Spidey is holding up a newspaper, and the only difference is the text/headlines on the paper...
  15. 8 books, Modern Fast track Verified : 6/15/2018Scheduled for Grading : 6/21/2018Graded : 6/22/2018Grading/Quality Control: 6/25/2018Shipped/Safe : 6/26/2018 Delivered (Texas) : 7/02/2018 I had also submitted some through the LCS after a signing. I only the know the dates they were sent off and then returned 2 books, Fast Track CCS pressing, Modern Fast track grading Shipped (from Texas) : 5/07/2018 Delivered (Texas) : 6/29/2018
  16. Ok I'll take #54 - X-men Messiah sketch Thanks so much!
  17. Ok, I had a sight switch up, so I'll pick when my turn (although these are all great)
  18. I sent in a iist, but i can choose live if is easier
  19. Did you request a thicker case, and did you have to pay a reholder fee? Thanks!
  20. Last week had my very first direct submission returned (that I sent in myself), this week has my actual first ever submission of my own comics. This took longer to return due to the pressing, and going through my LCS. So I was excited for these books, as the LCS had a free Mike Choi signing on Free Comic Book Day...and it was basically my very first time meeting an artist, going to a FCBD, and my first real submission, etc. My Target X had a small, non-color breaking dent on the cover, so I also decided to have them pressed through their service (I didn't have time beforehand to get it pressed locally or through somewhere else). That turned out to be a mistake, as I feel that the book came back in worse condition than when I sent it in. Now I know that it isn't a high value book, and I've read about others having things happen to much more valuable books, but I am a bit disappointed. I like the cover and where the artist signed, but those staples are really...something. They were nothing like that when I sent it in (I don't remember seeing any issue around the staples). The graders notes don't mention the cover dent (so I guess that came out), and only mention "Moderate staple recessed bottom of spine" and "spine stress lines". On a happier note, I do like how the Punisher came back (especially since I'm a Spurs fan). Anyone know how I can get Tim Duncan's autograph on there too?
  21. Yes, I used it on an Auction item that ended today, as well as 2 buy it now items. Just have to use "Add to Cart" for the BINs, and pay in a single transaction as Paul_Maul mentioned.
  22. I don't have near as many books (~450), and I use the Excel/CLZ combination, and that seems to be working well for me. I also got tired of purchasing dupes when I didn't have the spreadsheet handy. CLZ does have some quirks, but is great to have on my phone. I like that it is updated with new/upcoming issues with the cover art, and that it backs my stuff up on their servers.
