  1. I really got to do something with my collection/hoarding problem. I need a room or something. I love the idea of a spinner rack with a 70's theme! So many great ideas here. I will come up with something this year and keep you posted.
  2. The piano hinges are a great touch! Nicely built! I wish I lived in the area I am almost interested in it Best of luck selling it!
  3. When I get back to San Antonio I will have to pull out some of my favorite June Flash covers!
  4. My pitiful copy of 129 was once used face down as a seat protector for a secret clubhouse. Or so I imagine... He had to put something down on the dirty floor to protect the seat of his britches or else his mom would know he'd been hanging out at the clubhouse.
  5. Very nice copy of 129 there! Famous cover, classic issue and at 8.0 that deserves at least 3 dancing bananas!?! What say you Flash Fans? Congratulations!!!
  6. Thank for sharing! What a deal! and even a 105 and a 123 in there! That's worth at least 3 dancing bananas! Maybe4!
  7. Since Terry brought it up, hows about everyone sharing a photo of their #140's? Could be fun!?
  8. Thanks for sharing Terry! I thought maybe if hinted a little you just might treat us to something like this!!! What a beauty! Wow!!!
  9. Still compared to Marvel Silver Age stuff? Flash is still cheap and you gotta love that! Arguably the most important character of the Silver Age, our Flash is still affordable. And such great covers by our Master, Infantio! Marvel had Kirby, but for my money Infantino had more style and grace. More accurate to the human figure. True works of art! How many of us here are lucky enough to own some of his original art? I can only dream of owning a page!
  10. There was such a long run up and so many delays for this movie. At one point I believed it would never be released. I've never seen anything like it. This my be the reason there was no big rush or run on Flash books yet? What do you think? Normally the hint of a movie will send prices up and up. But with this botched release (2-3 year delay)?
  11. Congratulations to you both!!! Amazing job really, all 4 rounds! Very impressive!
  12. My grades were on par with yours: I feel it was a lucky day at CGC, especially for Wow and Action Comics. I could see Wow being gifted a 4.0 it is a 1930's comic. Maybe a 4.5??? I will have to go back to the scans and take another look. Action Comics I knew was above a 2.5 and kinda rough looking for a 3.5, so I went with a 3.0 on that one ( but 4.0? ) I will have to go back and re read Matt's grading guide. I need to get closer and be more forgiving in general. But those 2 books I really feel were off and if were sent back anonymously again would get lower grades.
  13. Worst round ever for me! I really liked my grades! Can I get a do over? 12points
  14. Grades in ---it was driving me CrAzY! So I just stopped and hit submit---lol!
  15. Well 2 bulls and 4 points for me race fans, not bad, but not nearly good enough to stay in the running for this contest!
  16. Trying to grade these books I will take a last look tonight and submit.
  17. So you got a 140 and a 112??? That's great! You must share some photos when you get them!
