  1. I brought some strange old comic...I still remember it was Vol 2 #7....first appearance of the Masked Marvel. I bought it when the Billy Wright collection went up for auction. 9.4. The one I liked better (and also have since sold) was Crack Comics #43 Church....HERE COMES CAPTAIN TRIUMPH !! The Gerber Photo journal shows him headlining the covers from 1943-1949. And he has all of Superman's powers plus invisibility.
  2. Aquaman The media trashes him...outright lies LOL. Like his movie is so bad that everyone walked out of the test screenings. They said Flash was the best movie of all time...the test screening audience gave a 5 minute standing ovation. And Blue Beetle is the heart & soul of the new DCU. While Aquaman 2 is irrelevant. Even CGC says the only comic-book movie in December is Wonka. And they deleted their Comics General - Movies section.
  3. So I'm wrong in saying this item is interesting and has potential ?
  4. Excellent post. It's not for sure...but this thread is about giving ourselves a chance to hit big. This post brought back the memory of the green sewing-machine my mom had in my room when I was about 5 I think. It folded down so as to be a normal table. I was fascinated by how complex it was. Can these items be acquired now in MINT condition??
  5. 99% of 'practical opinion' is like this. But this thread is for those who want to give themselves a chance to hit big.
  6. Dropped mics is thinking ahead. But everyone already knows about stage worn items. And pulps...unless it's an extremely underrated character. I'm talking about predicting what no one talks about now...but should be.
  7. At first...when I read your original post...it was only the words. The photo didn't pop up until later. I love John Wayne. I went triple my maximum price but still got out-bid for his drivers license. My point is...yeah Roy Rogers looking like that might have gotten me suspended outta here if I said how he looks LOL.
  8. Start with Google. And there are lots of auctions of stuff of celebrities who have already died. They won't sell their drivers license before they die LOL.
  9. Buying the lesser things of well established things isn't predicting ahead. For comics...I'd predict that cameos & ad-appearances...pre-1st-appearances...are undervalued.
  10. We posted at the exact same time. Read my above ^^^ post please.
  11. I predict that current-valid drivers licenses & passports of celebrities who passed away will in 10-40 years become the 'rookie cards PSA 10' of celebrities.
  12. How many of us looked at the Baseball Card Price Guides from the 1950's to the 1980's and thought we'll make a fortune by buying stacks of 50 rookie cards...Puckett, Bonds, Clemens...oh, remember that McGuire Team USA rookie...Canseco...I had stacks of Gwynn, Boggs...I had rookies of a hundred HOF'ers from even the old days - 50's through 70's. But I wasn't thinking ahead intelligently. It all turned-out to be worthless. Intelligent would have been to contact PSA and buy graded 10 rookies. At least I did switch to GA comics...in time to make a good move or 2. In business...you only have to predict something right once. But you can't just say what everyone else is saying.
  13. Not just comics. Things that no one talks about now. These items exist.
  14. But this tread is for 1 thing and 1 thing only. Predictions on what will skyrocket in value in 10-40 years. Like that can be acquired now for $5000-$100,000 but HAS A CHANCE to be worth $1,000,000-$20,000,000 in 10 to 40 years.
  15. Yes. I was writing a comment on this...but I deleted it...because this topic deserves a tread of it's own. Which I'm posting now...
  16. Not to rant...but it's so easy to show that the media is LYING. Aquaman 1 got over $800M overseas. Audiences overseas OBVIOUSLY don't care about Amber Heard...and OBVIOUSLY don't care about the DCEU...they don't even know who Amber Heard is, let alone James Gunn or Peter Safran. So ridiculous. Absurd. I told you right on here that The Flash would flop...right in the midst of it being hailed as the greatest superhero movie of all time. So people...it's all good...if I'm wrong I'll eat crow...but for fun, let's hear some realistic non-media-propaganda Aquaman 2 box-office predictions...........
  17. 5-minute standing-ovation for Flash...people walking out of Aquaman 2...Lobo above Aquaman...Harley Quinn & egg sandwiches so awesome...Wonder Woman #1...Shazam a success...Black Adam a game-changer...Blue Beetle so original and breaking barriers... Mary Poppins too much for Aquaman... It's all LIES. But everyone believes it.
  18. The media is so ridiculously over-the-top spreading anti-Aquaman propaganda. And people who watch the 'news' believe everything they're spoon-fed. This will never change. The general population fortunately doesn't watch much 'news'.
  19. At first, he said WW was banned in China...which I showed is untrue. And that's the only thing that matters. Lebanon, Tunisia, Kuwait, & Qatar don't matter to the box-office.
  20. LOL stop lying. Not only wasn't WW banned anywhere...but it was given ridiculously fawning lying media backside-smooching praise. And now, predictably, the media is saying that Aquaman 2 is terrible LOL.
  21. Yes, WW 1 was about $818M worldwide. And it had a fair shake...it was released everywhere. $89M in China. Normally I don't trust China. But for US superhero movies...I'd trust them more than I'd trust the USA media. WW 1984 was $38.5M in China and $169.6M worldwide. It would look too overly ridiculous if the US media said it was a blockbuster here. Aquaman was $335M US (at least, probably much more)...$298M China...and $1.15B worldwide.
