  1. Fill the form out before hand select drop off and the show when you do it, for whatever services you want- print 2 copies to give them with the books. Very smooth process if you do that before. Also will cut down a ton of time with customs I believe.
  2. Thanks and thanks for the opinion... the book is going bonkers so I wanted to grab one while i could... as long as it comes in 2.5 or Up I feel I did well with the price i Paid.
  3. Since the grading guide doesn’t cover someone decorated the logo- I wanted some opinions. The book can definitely use a clean but not sure if it is worth doing if the writing will drop it to far. So please grade my ff 48! Thanks
  4. I will admit I am a but biased in this since I own an X-men 1 pence copy- but because of this I did a lot of research on them. To me the rarity of the book drew me to it, and I can not see a true difference from your average price variant and I am almost sure my scenario above has happened because of the bias on them, and no other differences. - you wouldn't even need a rip... a well placed price stamp and you can probably go into higher grades!
  5. So if someone had a g/vg copy of a mega key and it was a pence- you would buy it if the price was ripped off but if it was not you would want to pay less? I say it like this because the rip is allowable in those grades.
  6. I understand your stance... but if they were all printed at the same time... in the us and then shipped to a different region wouldn't they more closely equate to the 30 and 35 cent variants? It is the same exact circumstance, same print run with only a price change in a much smaller geographic area.
  7. ..Here is Xmen one census... which one should cost more if scarcity is part of the equation when collecting these old funny books
  8. It was tough Saturday morning but they added 2 more to have 4 by the middle of Saturday and Sunday. I got all the stuff I wanted done by the end of Saturday minus Denny O'Neil who was not there until Sunday. Overall I thought they recovered well.
  9. I am going up saturday and sunday... first time at this show... any tips?
  10. Thanks everyone... this is more along the lines of what I was thinking but was not sure. keep the thoughts coming!
