I'm thinking 4.0 at best, but bigger pics are needed.

I've read that Wolverine doesn't smell so good.

I don't like that back cover at all. The ink, dirt and huge fold drops it down to 3.0 tops for me.

3.5. as the sub crease drops it down. The pages look great, but not sure that would get it to a 4.0 for me.

2.0 to 2.5.

I'm looking at 2.0 to 2.5, but I'm a tough grader.

1.5 to 1.8.

Today I had a Netflix dvd arrive that was shipped on 12/9. The replacement dvd of it arrived as well.

3.0 to 3.5 with all of the staining, especially on the first page.

I'll second that.

How much time are you giving ebay packages to arrive before you file with ebay? While I understand the situation and have had packages take three weeks to arrive, I want to protect myself. My last remaining purchase was mailed on the 14th, hit the NYC hub on the 18th and there has been no movement since. (Of course it was sent media mail). Since it has been three weeks, I'm thinking of filing at some point this week.

I've actually been re-reading Calvin & Hobbes this week. What a wonderful strip. It was funny and tugged at your heart strings at the same time. Nothing comes close today.

I contacted my local PO through the online submission forms on the 24th on the two packages posted above. Things got moving as one is arriving today and the other tomorrow. And the local PO left a voice mail informing me of that.

1.5 to 1.8. But $10 is a steal!

Actually the book looks like it spent a couple of months inside a urinal at a rest stop on I-65.

As long as you're not waiting with baited breath. (WTF would you bait your breath with anyway?)

This book is a prime example of what non comics fans think will fund their retirement.

Hard to narrow it down to 3. 10 would have been better, but I'll stop with 4. 1) Batman 171-I'd been after this one for a long time and was happy to pick this up from MCS as a 3.5. No hesitation on pulling the trigger on this one. Besides, it was trade credit. 2) Hawkman 9-This was an upgrade of one of my favorite covers ever. Picked it up on ebay. I grade it as a 6.0, maybe a little higher. 3) Flash 153-I had a CGC of this and sold it (damn you, Newton Rings). It was difficult finding a decent copy at a reasonable price. MCS didn't have an actual picture of this, just a generic one. They graded it as a 2.0, but baby, I don't care. It's mine. 4) Green Lantern 36-another upgrade of a favorite cover of mine.

I grade along the lines of MCS, which is a lot tighter than anybody else. I'm thinking 3.0 at best.

With all of the tape, the name stamp and the spine wear, 2.0.

3.0 to 3.5.

2.0. Eck!

I'll lowball at 4.0 to 4.5. But either way, it is a keeper.
